The split rail on the side of the yard fainted. By that I mean the wood rotted and gave way. I opted to do the demo myself because I have tools and time but I didnt want to build the fence . Steve was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about rebuilding the split rail fence and offered me tips about maintaining it. He worked fast and efficiently and even finished early. We had wallpaper removed in the powder room, which is odd shaped with a pedestal sink, toilet, three separate arched windows and ten-foot ceiling making it very difficult. It was then painted with a lot of cut in and detail around an angled ceiling and moldings. Leroy came and did what I would consider to be a six-star job. As you can tell this was not an easy room to work in, but the job was finished on time and under the estimate.

Many thanks to Chris and Hands4Hire for last week's work. He hung a 20 lb. wrought iron handrail to an outside stucco wall at our front doorsteps, in addition to a couple other tasks. And made it look easy! Hands4Hire continues ti impress, bringing talent and experience to each project. My 3rd experience with the Cornelius Hands4Hire and I will continue to reach out to them when I need handyman tasks completed. Highly recommend. Prior, we had an aging 500+ sq. ft. wood deck that needed to be replaced as it clearly had outlived the point of another pressure wash and re-stain. When reaching out to contractors we didnt think the project was a handyman kind of work until a friend suggested we ask Hands4Hire for a project estimate. I knew the name Hands4Hire but didnt realize the deep bench of specialized resources they had available to meet more complex tasks other than the routine hang a ceiling fan kind of work. During the pre-project consulting phase, Hands4Hire helped us decide on replacement materials (we chose Trex), color and other design options. The Hands4Hire project crew were elite craftsmen that worked long days and took extreme care to protect the shrubs and bushes that bordered the work site and cleaned up the project area at the end of every day. We could not be happier with the result and will call on Hands4Hire in the future for both small tasks and larger projects. We highly recommend Hands4Hire.

I have really enjoyed my interactions with Hands4Hire and look forward to using them for even more projects! Update 10.24.25: Can not say enough great things about Kurt and Cordell! We had a major multi level, deck built on the back of our home and these guys were fantastic. They were excited for us and to complete the project which made the experience even more fun for us. We didn't have a clue what we were talking about in verbalizing our vision, but Kurt and Cordell understood, and were great at educating us and informing us along the way! Their attention to detail and care for the work they are producing is top notch! I will say one thing though - if you are planning a major build like ours, be sure to have one of the actual builders on site for a consult from the very start! We had a little bit of miscommunication and didn't get that, but they made it right at the end. I would also highly recommend pressuring the office to ensure your lead guys are yours from start to FINISH! Towards the end, K & C were getting pulled away for other projects and a few details fell through the cracks that made the finish not as much enjoyable for us. I hope the office can take that in to consideration when scheduling future jobs - as a customer I rather wait months for my project to begin then have it pushed aside at the end, if it means I get to have my same guys from start to finish making sure the quality and details aren't missed!

Cordell H. replaced some pieces of vinyl siding on my house that were damaged. He also inspected a decorative window on the front of my house that I had concerns about whether or not there was possible structural damage that could potentially lead to the window leaking when it rains. He found no major issues but did caulk around it on the outside as well as on the inside of the window in the attic just to be 100% sure there would be no leakage. Overall, I was thoroughly satisfied with his work. He was on time, he was professional, and in addition to doing all the work he was patient while I asked him several questions about the work he was doing.
