They also updated our upstairs bathroom beyond expectations. They did not leave a spec of dirt and cared for our home as if it was their own. Professionals like this are hard to come by.

We, like many others, suffered from the extreme anxiety and trepidation of having drywall or plaster work done in our home. The fear of drywall dust being everywhere in the house and on everything was overwhelming. Plus, there was the fear that the repair might end up looking worse than the damage. Fortunately, all this worrying was completely unwarranted thanks to the Gordons. It is impossible to fully describe just how caring and professional they were during the whole process. Lets begin with the really simple things. We had several items that could not be moved easily and needed to stay in place during the project. Each day they meticulously wrapped them to protect them from damage and dust. Note, I said each day. That is a very important point because before they left each day, they cleaned the entire area, unwrapped and uncovered everything, and returned use of the area to us each night. This was amazing! Words cannot capture how comforting it was to see not only the progress, but also to see how they treated our home while they were in it. I jokingly (not jokingly) stated that the house was cleaner after they left each day than it was before they began work. They actually cleaned into the corners. There was no dust, no cobwebsjust clean. Yes, I started with the cleaning, but it certainly wasn't just the cleaning that impressed us, it was their extreme attention to detail. We thought we had only several smaller spots needing repair, which we hoped would be simple. However, as often happens in older homes, once they began the repairs, old damage that had been previously covered up cosmetically was discovered. These too were repaired properly and professionally. No cosmetic cover ups or short cuts taken here. Then, as if by magic or sorcery, everything was expertly repainted in a way that blended seamlessly into the rest of the house. I could have tried for 100 years to match paint colors and blend them in without achieving the flawless result they did. I am not sure how they do this, but it is amazing. In summary, I would say that there are plenty of highly skilled tradesmen who surely could have done acceptable work. But there are very few artists like the Gordon's who can provide exceptional work like we received. It is a disservice to only give them 5 stars. They deserve at least several additional starsone for their attention to detail, and another for their conscientious respect for our home and property in how they cleaned as they went, and another several more for their communication before, during, and after the process. I cannot thank them enough for caring for our home with such respect, and for providing such talented and expert work. 5 stars simply cannot do justice nor do they sufficiently represent the level of service provided by these great people!

Wow!!!! Best decision we could have made! John and Barb are hands down experts in plaster repair. After experiencing extensive water damage due to a roof leak, our walls and ceiling were so very damaged. John and Barb not only did an excellent job on our plaster repair with coved ceilings...they also color matched our paint so well that you cant even tell we had all the damage we had. Not to mention our home was so clean after they did their magic, we wouldnt have known they were there. Our home was left daily cleaner than before they started.They also went above and beyond to do extra repairs for us. That was such an amazing surprise! From the moment John met us to the job being finished, we experienced 100% customer care and service. They were true to their word and our expectations were surpassed. Hire John and Barb! They were super responsive, thorough in their assessment, estimate, and ultimately their detailed work. They were extremely timely, professional, transparent, and clean (bonus!). Each day they left our home spotless & let us know the plan, then they followed through as stated. We had them fix drywall and ceiling cracks & then asked them back to paint. Each step was done efficiently & perfectly completed. They were also both so sweet to our curious & friendly dog!

We had a pipe burst in our basement. I had to hire a Plummer to come out and fix it. In doing so unfortunately holes had to be made in the dry wall. I had two estimates done with drywall contractors to repair the ceiling. John Gordon company by far was the lowest estimate. Barb the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating to our crazy schedule. The job took two days. John was on time and did a Fabulous job repairing the ceiling . He even offered us advice with tips so we wouldnt run in with another issue with the pipes. John even took time out of his day to personably deliver a part that would help with our pipes not freezing . My basement area looks amazing. He left the area so clean you would have never known I had an issue. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again if I have another issue. The Gerards

I had Gordons bid a plaster repair job for a small corner of my ceiling that had become damaged due to a water leak. Very reasonable quote and they were able to get out in the same week to repair it. Quality and scope of work were beyond my expectations and Im very pleased with the result. They are busy, so be patient when you first contact them if you dont hear back immediately, but theyre worth the wait.
