We originally used this company for a roofing repair and had an amazing experience, so we thought using them again for drywall work would be an easy decision. Unfortunately, this turned into the complete opposite experience and one of the most frustrating contractor interactions weve ever had. The problems started with the estimate appointment. The estimator initially tried to cancel, but when we explained we couldnt reschedule, he suddenly was able to make it out after all. The actual repair scheduling was where everything really fell apart. We were told the crew would arrive between 1011 AM. After hearing nothing, my husband had to call over an hour later, only to be told they had run into complications at another job and would not make it that day at all. No proactive communication, no courtesy call we had to chase them down ourselves for answers. They then rescheduled us for the next morning at 8:008:30 AM, which sounded great because we thought we could get the project done early and still enjoy the rest of our Saturday. Once again, nobody showed up or contacted us. My husband had to reach out yet again, and this time the project manager said the crew was getting materials and would maybe arrive around 11 AM. When the workers finally arrived, they thought they were only patching a small hole in the ceiling and had no understanding of the actual project scope. My husband had to explain the job himself and once again call the completely absent project manager, who never showed up in person throughout this entire process. Because the crew did not understand the work order, they had to leave AGAIN to go to Lowes for additional materials, which delayed the project another hour and a half. The lack of communication, organization, professionalism, and respect for our time completely ruined our weekend. It honestly felt like nobody involved knew what was going on unless we repeatedly tracked people down ourselves. Its disappointing because our roofing experience was excellent, but this drywall experience was a complete disaster and a total 180 from the service we previously received. We will not be using this company again and unfortunately cannot recommend them to others after this experience.

Gonzalez Painters were excellent. They arrived promptly for every appointment, from the estimate to the work days. They were reasonably priced. Luis and Luis did careful excellent work repairing dry wall and painting my high ceilings that had mold from last year's hot summer. They were careful with my belongings and cleaned up the place when they were done. To top it off, they were personable and communicative. I recommend them highly.

We used Gonzalez Painters & Contractors to do a full power wash of our exterior home, repairs to our siding and repainting the entire outside including two wooden porches. The contractors were very efficient and finished their work within the promised time frame to our full satisfaction. I can recommend their service. We got a great deal at a good price. As I say that the price is what you pay and the value is what you get. In our case the value was rather greater than the price.

We had our house and a new pergola over a deck painted three years ago by Gonzolez, and wanted the pergola pressure washed and repainted, just to be sure that it was well protected. We also wanted the canopies (6) removed, cleaned, and reinstalled. We were able to schedule an appointment for an estimate very quickly. The price was very reasonable and they were able to schedule the work within a week. Once scheduled, the crew showed up on time, got right to work, and did a great job, first taking down the canopies and cleaning them, then power washing the deck and pergola. After letting everything dry overnight, they came back and did a great job painting the pergola and reinstalling the canopies. They even found time to answer questions from our 6-year old grandson who was off from school and thought this was a great thing to watch. After everything was done, they did a great job cleaning up. We would definitely use Gonzalez Painters again.

APRIL 2026: I want to thank the team at Gonzalez for another outstanding experience. They removed the popcorn ceiling from my large bonus room (16'x24') and did a wonderful job. The sheetrock tape had to be replaced, and it required quite a bit of skim work, sanding and painting until it looked perfect. Thank you to my project manager, Jeffrey, his extended crew and especially, Joel, the lead painter who both made sure everything was completed perfectly and I was completely satisfied. They did a wonderful job and I couldn't be more pleased. SUMMER 2025: I am so delighted with my latest experience hiring the team at Gonzalez Painting! They carefully power-washed my pale yellow house that they had painted four years ago and it looks as if it was freshly painted. My windows were also washed. I had waited too long in-between painting and power-washing, but they made everything perfect again. They touched up paint on grout in a few places and also fixed a carpentry issue. From my first call to the office everything ran smoothly and professionally. Scheduling was prompt and easy to set up. Many thanks to Edil for listening to all my needs at our estimate meeting, thanks to Mario for being a wonderfully attentive and present project manager and thanks to his absolutely wonderful crew of Smith and Carlos. I cannot express how happy I am every time look at my home! I trust this company so much to do an excellent job, and appreciate the outstanding customer service I have repeatedly received. Written in 2021: I hired Gonzalez Painters to do three major jobs for me and each time I was delighted with the quality of the work, attention to detail, and the professionalism and kindness of each crew. This company is outstanding, and so are the people they hire. I can't say enough positive things about them. 🙂 Starting with my initial call to the office, I was treated with respect and friendliness, and received a prompt appointment for a free estimate. The two men who worked with me to estimate each job, Edgardo and Edguardo, were SO patient and helpful, listened to all my questions, explained everything, and I promptly received a detailed written estimate describing the work. They were willing to revise my estimate as I added and subtracted things (several times), and I felt their prices were appropriate especially with the quality of the work performed. The first project was the painting of all the interior walls and ceilings upstairs and downstairs including a cathedral ceiling with skylights prior to the installation of new flooring and the renovation of he kitchen. I was still debating my wall color when I met my first project manager, Eric.He had come with a gallon of the paint and they painted a small wall so I could be reassured about my selection. (SW Grayish is a great gray.) The crew carefully taped every trim edge and thoroughly covered EVERYTHING. It was so nicely prepped, and the end result was perfect. The lines were clean and crisp, not a drop of paint anywhere and the house was transformed. The project manager I had for the last two projects, Ruby, is a delight to have around as well as very professional and on top of everything. She managed the interior painting of my downstairs (kitchen, powder room and master bathroom) as well as the exterior painting of my home, a lot of carpentry work (thank you, Javier Sr.!) and advised me on the purchase and installation of gutter guards at a reasonable cost. These two projects were started as scheduled, on time and the end result was perfect. I actually think the exterior painting was able to begin a week ahead of the original date. My house was carefully power washed, as well as the sidewalk and the top of the driveway, which was a welcome surprise. It was thoroughly caulked, beautifully painted and carpentry repairs made everything look like new. Following each job, the project manager came for a walk through, and if there was something I wanted addressed (only one small thing, once), it was taken care of the next day without a problem.

I decided on Gonzales because of the professional and efficient manner that Edil conducted and presented the quote, which was very reasonable. They almost immediately confirmed a time when we arranged for a quote, called to let us know they could arrive even earlier, and then gave us an entirely fair and honest estimate. They say you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear but somehow they did just that. My house is 116 years old and it has seen some things. I hired Gonzalez Painters to do siding and trim repairs as well as paint the entire house. They are the first contractors I have ever hired that vastly exceeded my expectations. It looks like a brand new house. People have come to my door wanting to know who did the work. The crew was respectful of my property and kept the work area clean.They were polite and friendly. They let me know of any issues they found instead of ignoring them. Any questions I had were promptly answered. The repairs look great and some were really tricky. The paint job is beautiful. After requesting estimates from several painting companies we finally chose Gonzalez Painters & Contractors to paint our house. Our decision was based on their very fair and reasonable estimate to power wash and paint our house and to carry out some minor repairs to the siding. Our decision was reinforced by the glowing review given to Gonzalez by a neighbor who had the company paint their house. The team of Edward, Luis, Jacobo and Erwin were always on time and did very professional work throughout the project. They even identified some additional small repairs to the siding that were needed and did a fantastic job effecting those repairs. We are completely satisfied with the work they did, will certainly use them again, and have received many compliments from our neighbors on how beautiful our house looks. In the Spring of 2026 we reached out to Gonzalez Painters for some minor siding repair and painting. We reached out to them because they have always been responsive to time sensitive requests and done great work for us. This time was no exception. In spite of their busy calendar, the accommodated our immediate need and finished the work in a timely and highly professional way -- as always.

I recently had a plumbing leak in my living room ceiling. We hired Gonzalez Painters & Contractors to replace the damaged drywall in our ceiling and to paint the entire ceiling. Very happy with our exterior paint job by Gonzalez Painters. We had 4 bids, and they were not the least expensive, but the communication with them made all the difference... the bid meeting, the project kick off walk through and then the final inspection let us work together to make sure everything looked good. Most importantly, they didnt rush me to get paid until I was satisfied with the finish work. They also had a 5 person crew which made the job go quickly and allowed the work to progress smoothly. I will use them again on future projects. Updated- we did an interior paint job with Gonzalez last week and again were very happy with the excellent workmanship and the final walk through to make sure everything looked great.

The painters took hours longer than they anticipated. There was a major language barrier so I had a difficult time telling them when they were doing something incorrectly like which sheen went on which walls. When doing touch ups at the end they used a satin sheen on a semigloss door so they had to come back another day to fix it. The edging was sloppy. The project coordinator was very nice and helpful but I was disappointed in the effort it took to complete this project to a reasonable standard. There is a six month guarantee so Im going to have to have them come out and fix a few other spots that were missed. Frankly Im tired of the whole process and am considering touching everything up myself.
