Jay powerwashed the ouside of my home and cleaned the rugs upstairs. His team consisted of wife and father-in-law- seemed to be working hard outside but with old antiquated equipment ( brooms to clean the siding?) They sprayed the outside with a chemical that apparantly should not sit in the windows- it permeanently left a film on my windows. They are ruined. The carpets were cleaned with a rented machine!! I hired at 600 dollars for the two jobs to avoid the filth of store rented machines. Jay spilled the water fromthe machine on my cream color rugs and didnt tell me- I saw the stain as they dried. He said he would come back when he got a new machine to do them again- I never heard from him again. I told him at that time I would not post a bad review-- I had hoped he would do the right thing in 6 months-- He was polite, nice enough person, but He is in over his head- did not have the professional equipment for the powerwashing and steam cleanig but charged as though he did . I wanted to hire a small business to keep them open amidst COVID. bad choice. I have since had to pull that rug up and still have foggy windows. Sorry. Choose a bigger company or one with better equipment.

I also posted this on YELP as not sure which site people prefer to search up reviews, so you may end up reading this twice!!! GENIUS CLEANING SOLUTIONS is absolutely the best cleaning service. I highly recommend them. We are very pleased. It is a comfort to know that the owners, Jay & Veronica come each week. They are friendly, punctual, professional and really care. We used to clean our house and as we got older it became more difficult so a few years ago we hired a cleaning service. Each week something did not get done, a new person often came so I had to explain some things over and over again, and little items would get broken, nothing was said and I would eventually find the pieces. It was very frustrating so I finally discontinued the service. I never expected that I would find the perfect service without a big hassle. Jay & Veronica from GENIUS CLEANING SOLUTIONS came to give us an estimate the same day I called and then a few days later they came to do the service. I had a good feeling about them right at the start. They did a fantastic job. Very professional and thorough. I could not believe the difference in the quality of their work, everything was perfect. My husband is particular about the dusting and he immediately noticed that the antique brass lamp in our bedroom did not have a spec of dust. He was thrilled when he came home today. Our kitchen and bath were perfect (those rooms get the most use) and every other room came out spotless. We are thrilled that they are coming weekly and highly recommend them.

Jay did a great job cleaning our apartment! I've contacted many other cleaning services before contacting Genius Cleaning Solutions/Jay, and what sets him apart was how quick he was to respond to our message, requests, and multiple date changes. The cleaning was superb and exceeded our expectations. We will continue using their service as we have trust in their work but most importantly, their line of communication is quick, easy, and really reliable.

I reached to Genius cleaning solutions because we needed house cleaning services. They did a very nice job, they gave life to our floors and bathrooms. The owner was one of the crew members and he was on top of everything and he made sure that everything was done properly. I will use them for bi-weekly cleaning.

Absolutely disgusting service. Do not order through them with Groupon. I called ahead of time to offer the courtesy of paying them the Groupon price instead of paying to Groupon. I told him that day that I lived in New Britain, he said that would be fine and he confirmed he would arrive on Friday. He told me on the phone he would finish a fridge in twenty minutes and told me it would be thirty dollars an hour extra if they didn't finish in the three hours. I was willing to pay that and left my house the day of with $60 and tip waiting just in case and even listed some things as optional. This included vacuuming, cleaning the fridge, loading the dishwasher etc. I called for two days and had no response from Thursday to Friday morning. My boyfriend called out of work and was waiting for them to arrive. I received a text message ten minutes before their arrival that it was too far, and to get a refund. This is a terrible service and I would not go through them if you have a groupon. I am so disgusted by the lack of communication and the inconvenience they caused when they could have just told us on Thursday. I never write negative reviews...ever. but this is just ridiculous. DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE A GROUPON! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
