Hired Igor and his crew to build out nearly 1000 sq ft in our basement. They did outstanding work and completed it on time as promised. The buildout included a full bath and shower, bedroom, and home TV game area. Again, all the work was done perfectly, Igor is a wonderful communicator and did exactly as he said he would do. His working staff is courteous and professional. Much of the time Igor himself was present and working. We would hire them in a second for any other construction job we have.. If you have concerns or questions Igor has our number and we are happy to sing his praise.

We worked on an extensive basement remodel with Igor and his team. It was a complete gut rehab with lots of demolition, cleanup, framing, moving utility lines and HVAC work. Igor, his team completed everything within budget and within the communicated schedule. The end result was really special with care and attention to detail. I would recommend Fort Engineering for all your renovation and building needs. He is responsive, attentive, and really easy to work with. I picked Igor after having a bad experience with another contractor who left the project just as we were about to start. While I was skeptical of using someone I found online, Igor was quick to respond and very approachable. Igor, Bob, Hector and the rest of the team were polite, timely, and neat throughout the process. They all have good aesthetic sense themselves and are open to suggesting ideas of what will look good and what wont. We have recommended Fort engineering to our friends now, a few of which are moving forward with large projects as well.

True Craftsmen that Care I just completed a huge renovation of my first house. For me, the hardest part of the renovation was finding dependable contractors who do high-quality work. I found that most contractors are very good at doing work that passes the eyeball test. At the end of the project, the client (you) take a look and everything seems fine. A few weeks ago by, and you start to realize where they cut corners. But its too late your check has been cashed, And now youll be paying a second contractor to fix work that shouldve been done right the first time. If you want the work done right, call Fort ENG. Bob and Igor are true craftsman. More than once - I swear this is true - I realized that they cared more about my project than I did. I was skeptical at first. They are not a giant company and they are not the cheapest. So I had them do a small project to start. After that project was done, I never hired anyone else to work on my house. I hired them for three days at first, and they stayed with me through 11 projects over four months. Since I completed my renovation, I have referred Fort ENG to my closest friends and family. Here is what I tell them: Fort ENG is going to give you a five star result at the lowest price. Whatever your project is, the result will be amazing. If you dont really care about amazing results, then sure, call your Uncle Gary. He says he knows what hes doing. Or better yet - hire someone youve never met before who seems totally confident that they know what theyre doing. Lord knows I tried that too. But fair warning - nobody ever says they dont know what theyre doing. I posted a few photos along with my review here. The results speak for themselves. And while the end result of the renovation is the home of our dreams, if I could go back in time, there is one thing that I wouldve done differently. I would have called Fort ENG on day 1.

To begin with, they were able to come last minute to complete a pretty small job, which was fantastic. Having said that, some of the work they did was sub-par. We hired them for a drywall project, and some of the outlet holes and canned light holes were cut way too big, requiring additional work from the owner of the house. Some of the screws and seams are visible as well. Overall pretty sloppy job. Edit: my father, Jack, was the one who hired you. I'm posting the review on his behalf.

Igor was prompt at responding to my initial request, and asked for the exact information he needed to do the job. Once I provided the details of the space, he gave me a reasonable estimate and followed up with me to see what I thought of the estimate. I thought it would be good to try to paint my whole house myself, and I did just that. I told Igor I was going to do it myself and he was very helpful to me throughout the process, and gave me details on exactly what I needed to do, and what supplies I needed. Even though I didnt utilize his painting services, he consulted me with just exactly what I needed to complete this project, and can see that the character of this person shines through in his actions, communication, and willingness to help. I painted the house myself, but if I ever choose to paint it again, I will not do it myself. I would trust Igor and his team of professionals to take good care of my space. This is a person who is dedicated to his customers satisfaction. That tells you all you need to know. 5 stars all the way.
