I found Elixor Construction through a Google search for 5-star contractors. I had hardwood floors installled in my living room as well as the marble replaced on my fireplace mantle. The owner John was extremely responsive and followed my timeline to a tee. I am thrilled with the completed work. My living room has been transformed into a beautiful new space. Additionally, the price was very competitive and well worth the excellent work that was done.

The antique stair & landing railing in our 1860s house became detached and was literally falling apart. Elixir sent their carpenters over on Dec 22 to look at the situation and they came up with a plan that allowed us to keep the gorgeous antique Victorian newel post at the bottom (which was apparently split), while adding another previously non-existing post at the top that shored up the structural integrity of the whole railing. The finished work is detailed and beautiful and preserves the character of the historic home. All this work was completed by January 2nd, even with Christmas and New Years holidays falling in between. Throughout the process Elixir has been communicative, transparent and 100% reliable. We are extremely happy with our experience working with them.

Sam was a perfectionist when it came to building the remainder of a wall with precise drywall adjustments and trim. He went above and beyond by leaving the house in pristine condition. He also communicated everything he was going to do and he took my opinion into consideration. Good professionals need good leadership and positivity. John is a good leader and beyond helpful.
