Not only did they finish my Drywall project that they were originally hired for, Jonathan and the team were also able to fix an electrical issue and a water boiler issue I had. UPDATE #2: Jonathon had Christi come in shortly after my first update and do the fixes. It has taken me awhile to post as the real test on the quality is once paint is applied. Was finally able to apply the primer and so far am really pleased. Great job! I have had this site minimized on my laptop for weeks, trying to decide if I was going to actually make comments on work Jonathon did for me some 5 12 years ago. It appears from his website the quality of his work has vastly improved although such photos would not necessarily reflect what I have noticed over the past 5 years and particularly within the last few weeks. I started building a home in the spring of 2017. The lot was cleared and prepped for the foundation by a professional excavator that had done this type of work for probably 30+ years. Additionally, the foundation was preformed and set by a professional company with a stellar reputation. My home is 1800 square feet and what I consider a relatively simple design. It was also constructed with framing and support that could be considered overkill. When the framing, electrical, etc. was completed, Jonathon and his crew came in and did the drywall. We negotiated what I believed to be a good price for the job. Shortly thereafter I had a painter come in to do a quick job of priming and painting the entire home in an off-white color to seal in the drywall and knowing that sometime in the future I would be repainting. Just to be clear, I had fully expected some settling to occur that would need repair work down the road; however, since there was a basement that ran the entirety of the main floor and with the excavation and foundation being what it was, I did not expect the large cracks that appeared running across the middle of the entire ceiling in the main living area. As dismayed as I was, I figured this would be a fix that was not insurmountable but would be very messy, somewhat expensive, and very time consuming as after repair it would require repainting of the entire ceiling. I believe Jonathon did not do the best of jobs to begin with as I also began noticing both internal and external corners where there was separation and cracks occurring and noticed that some screws were popping out beyond the drywall. Because of numerous issues that have arisen in the past several years, it was only within the past month or so that I decided to finally repaint, adding some color to some of the walls. I knew that some prep work would be required not just from normal wear and tear but because of what I mentioned above. However, upon closer examination, I also noticed there were many scratches on the drywall that were visible even having been covered by paint. And I couldnt even begin to count the number of screws that are popping out beyond the drywall on both the ceiling and the walls. Maybe some of this could be expected with a home that is now five years old; however, my overall assessment is that the job he did, while not absolutely horrific, could definitely have been done better. While I would not necessarily give him a bad review, I would offer a word of caution to carefully observe the work he is performing. UPDATE: Jonathon reached out to me almost immediately and asked I get in touch with him. Within a few days, he and Dakota came out and assessed the situation. Both were very professional and explained to me where areas I was unhappy with were due to settling and frankly admitted some flaws were "his". When he had originally done my drywall he had not been in the business very long and would have responded and "fixed" things had I called him. We'll stay in contact to arrange for a mutually acceptable time when he can come back and make things right. More to follow after this happens...

This is my second time using Edelmann Drywall and it gets better every time! Jonathan is an expert at what he does and it shows in his finished product. He explains the process in great detail so you understand what will happen along the way and so you can make decisions to stay on time and on budget. His entire crew is meticulous and very clean! Drywall is a messy business and they work hard to ensure your home is left in great shape with a good amount of prep before the job, and clean up after the job. Beyond being good at what he does, Jonathan is a nice guy who treats homeowners with respect. Oh, and he picks up the phone! Kindness and communication is hard to come by these days so Jonathan was a great find! If you're looking for a pro, do not hesitate to give Edelmann a call. You will not be disappointed!

I had several holes in my ceiling, along with knicks, dents and scuffs.. my crown moulding was initially poorly done but Jonathan and his guys fixed my problems within TWO days. The tedious work he put into the prep work was unbelievable. From putting plastic up, taping everything off, keeping dust to a MINIMUM was above and beyond what I had anticipated from anyone... I'm truly blown away. Looking at how he fixed the ceiling and edges of the room where the crown was haphazardly done, is just perfection.

Hands down excellent! We called Jonathan for several large drywall patches and seem repairs in every room of house. We received an immediate response and he gave us an estimate within days. He and his crew showed up as scheduled and did a phenomenal job. His crew is professional and did an outstanding job cleaning at the end of each day. When the job was completed, Jonathan walked us through every repair to ensure we were satisfied. He even called a few days after the job to make sure there were no issues after we painted. Highly recommended, Jonathan will be back to finish our basement!
