Assumed we was replacing our basement carpet after we stated we was going to eventually! Then tried to blame us saying we told him he could make the mess bc that seems like something someone would say huh? Even if it was being replaced its still called being respectful. He did not put up plastic or drop clothes down to keep his mess to the minimum. Instead he ruined my carpet with drywall mud EVERYWHERE! He left drywall dust just about on everything in my home including upstairs thick piles of it. I would understand little bit here and there but he didn't even begin to clean it up. NO SHOP VAC WAS EVER USED! It has costed us an additional $1000.00 to replace flooring in these 2 bedrooms that was NOT in our budget at the moment. He also won't respond to messages about receipts that is owed to us. We have not received the first piece of paper from them. Definitely a lesson learned for us. You can see the mess on the carpets he was going to leave vs him trying to clean it which still ruined it!
