I wrote my initial review after Jay completed our first remodel project. I am back to say we loved his work so much we hired him again for our second remodel project! Again, Jay and his team exceeded our expectations. Their work ethic shines! They were extremely professional and communicated throughout the process. They managed the submittal with our HOA and the city for permitting. They made sure to add protective coverings to the long stretch of communal hallway so that nothing got dirty on the carpets from the remodel. We are very happy with our second remodel project with Dirty Deeds. We highly recommend Jay and his team, you'll be happy with the results! Jay & his team completed a master bath remodel at our condo in Rolling Meadows. Jay is hardworking, punctual and personable. He has incredible patience and ensures the work is up to his standards; providing a high quality, completed project. He took his time to answer questions or discuss any doubts throughout the process. He has even been kind enough to provide us some insight as we troubleshoot some issues with another bathroom in our unit. Would absolutely keep him in consideration for any future remodeling work!

The person who left a bad review under a fake account name Null is someone who clearly doesn't understand how advertising works. Dirty Deeds does an amazing job and we liked them so much we hired them twice. This "Null" person lives in the same condo as me and clearly just likes to complain. Sounds like someone who can never be pleased. The point of leaving reviews here is to provide a review based on their SERVICE. Not about soliciting or "screams shady work" just cause they left their business card. Anyways, I would highly recommend Dirty Deeds LLC. Jay and his crew do great work and I hope this comment helps you decide to hire them for your next remodel!

I read your response, ok you entered the building not my actual living space. Thanks for the grammar correction. But you must have failed to read the NO SOLICITING sign at the front door. Go ahead and proof read that sign for me. This company decided to go into my condo building and leave advertisements on everyone's door knobs. To me, this screams "WE'RE A SHADY COMPANY". just from this advertisement alone, I would say, don't trust them. I don't need anything remodeled, if I did I would start looking for a good business based on their reviews. Leave a card on my door BEGGING for business. BEGGING FOR MY MONEY... A good company doesn't need to beg. This is a red flag.

Jay and his crews have always done phenomenal jobs for us. We have been his customer since 2018...when we first noticed water damage on one of our walls. Not only Jay and his crews always arrived on time but they were very thorough and efficient, so our home wasnt left in a mess for a long time. We had a very bad experience with a prior contractor on its quality and timeliness on delivery. So ever since that job, we have been using Jays service whenever we have a home improvement need. The responsiveness, peace of mind and quality assurance are totally worth it.

This company stands by their work. I can vouch for Jay and Raul who as part of the Dirty Deeds team came out and dry walled my basement after a flood. They were prompt and arrived on time. When priming the drywall myself I noticed some flaws in the patching. Nothing major but flaws nonetheless. Raul came out within a day and took care of the few spots I had noticed. He explained that some of these formed because of having to go over already painted walls. Raul promptly addressed the issues and overall the project looks great! Mind you I had already paid the remaining balance on the invoice. The commitment the Dirty Deeds team had to stand by their work truly shows. So know you are getting a great product that the team stands by and supports. Plus they are trustworthy as shown by this example. Thanks to the guys at the Dirty Deeds crew!

Absolutely terrible experience with Jay. He reached out to me 1st & proposed an offer, which I accepted. Before he arrived tried change the deal by 20% in his favor and then was late to his own appointment. When I asked how much longer....he replied with a cancellation and said hell pass on the deal! He gave my online seller profile a bad review. What nerve!!! I didnt even engage him, agreed to his offers and left my schedule open for his arrival. I never do this but he started it and wasted my time and is a liar! Avoid!!

J and the Dirty Deeds crew are top notch. They completed several projects at my house over several years, and I was highly satisfied with all of their work. They recently updated the caulking around my windows so that they were properly sealed. They then worked to repair the damage in two of my bedrooms caused by the leaky windows. The repairs were extensive including demo of drywall and trim along with cleaning the areas and replacing the insulation, drywall and trim. The rooms were also repainted. They look fantastic! They also vented one of my bathroom fans outside the house that was previously venting straight into the attic. That was also done very well. I would highly recommend Dirty Deeds. They can help with almost any project around your house.

This is the first contractor I have experienced acting this rudely. No way I would have used them even if they had given an estimate. It was a complete waste of 3 days. They missed the first scheduled appointment with no explanation until I asked the next morning. They said at that point that they will come some time later in the day. 6+ hours later I get an email at 5:03 saying I didn't answer the door. I responded at 5:06 saying that I haven't heard a knock or doorbell. I'm sitting right next to the door, I would have heard either. No text saying they were at the door or anything. They argued with me about it saying they were sitting in the driveway(they weren't, I checked the camera). I'm pretty sure they mistook a 4 for a 9 in the address. Would rather argue than just say they were outside. It was as though I had missed the appointment and now they were doing me a favor, but I was ungrateful for their sacrifice.

I worked with Dirty Deeds to repair water damage to a ceiling in one room, replace popcorn ceiling and track lighting with flat ceiling and can lights with crown molding in two rooms, and replace various bathroom fixtures in a powder room. From the start I appreciated the design ideas and options Jay offered. He is very knowledgeable and was able to pivot and adapt during the project to accommodate our requests and unexpected challenges left by previous owners and the age and wonkiness of the home. Despite the delays beyond our control, including extensive insulation and drywall replacement and repair, Dirty Deeds was able to complete the project in a timely manner. I also really appreciated Jays responsiveness and patience throughout the project especially for this first-time homeowner with many questions at many hours of the day or night. I am very impressed with the quality work and will use Dirty Deeds again for future projects. I also recommend them to anyone else looking to refresh or repair their home.
