Very friendly Co-Owner. Overpriced Service; Under Performance. As a nanogenarian woman, I feel I was taken advantage of because of my age and financial means. I would not recommend this company after having been charged $1,244.54 to have four old sliding closet doors' track system and new rollers installed. Also, a new part installed in the Bathtub drain which constituted no problem in removal or installation.

Had Steve out to provide a quote for some insulation work in my crawl space. Ive got to say he is the most honest and trustworthy contractor Ive engaged with which seems to be a rarity these days.. No pressure, no upsell, just an honest assessment on the request. Didnt end up hiring them for this specific job due to a lack of necessity which he honestly told me vs trying to sell a project which didnt need to be done. Could have easily built fear and provided a quote which he didnt do. Appreciate this and he will absolutely be the first guy I call next time I need a handyman. Thank you!

The estimate visit was completely free, and I received a clear, fair quote by the end of the day. They offered a wide range of appointment options to fit my schedule, which I really appreciated. When they arrived, the technicians were efficient, professional, and took great care of my home. The repair was done quickly and with excellent attention to detail. Let me first say that DHS was a referral from a family friend in the industry locally so I trusted the referral. DHS was under different ownership when I accepted their bid. They required $4k down to get on their schedule for what was supposed to be a simple shower remodel. After 4 months of waiting (when my down payment could have been earning interest for me), I finally got on their schedule for the demo, but it took TWO MONTHS POST DEMO to have a working shower. I only have one bathroom, so not having a shower for two months was a considerable inconvenience. The new owners appeared to be concerned and attempted to make things right, but the bottom line is I endured ~six month wait for a simple shower remodel ... and then they wanted the balance paid immediately and threatened past due charges only four days after the final inspection was completed. I wish I could have given a better review because I like the new owners, but threatening additional charges so soon after the project was FINALLY completed just capped off the whole chaotic experience with this company.

I paid for permanent lights to be installed on my home. Within 2 weeks the lights were falling off. I emailed, called with no response. When I finally spoke with someone they said they had the wrong number which is just crap because, you had the right number and email when you wanted my money. So for almost three months of the run around, lights still not fixed and properly installed I said forget it! Horrible company and I would never use them or recommend to anyone!!! I soundly even give them one star!

Denver's Handyman Services did a fantastic job with various repairs in and around my condo. They installed a new storm door, installed a exterior patio screen door, adjusted and rehung an interior door, removed and replaced a new ceiling fan receiver and remote, and repaired and renforced both patio lower deck coverings. From office staff to estimator to handyman all were extremely professional, answered all questions, communication was superb and quality of work was outstanding. Highly recommend this business for all your handyman needs!

DO NOT HIRE! They will ignore your calls, make big promises at the office without checking with the contractor first, dishonest, leave things out of your contract completely OR put something in your contract but not in the contractors worksheet. Just an awful company. They are basically the worst middleman ever, and both the contractor and the client gets completely screwed.

I had a small project that involved removing and re-installing shower glass. They came out to see it and gave me a quote for a fair price. The next weekend they sent one of their subs out to do the job, which is fine, but it was only one-guy. How is one guy supposed to remove a 6-foot x 5-foot 150 lb piece of shower glass? The guy seemed really confused on what he was supposed to do. He said he'd come back the next weekend with someone to help. Okay, fine. He called the day before and said he couldn't find anyone. Since I needed to get the job done quickly, I said I would help, but he said he didn't want to do that. I spent the next month calling and emailing them to have someone come do the job, but they kept saying they were "working on it." But they certainly gave me the impression that they would get to it soon. I understand that they have bigger projects than my little one, but don't string me along like that. Finally I said, why don't you give me my money back. They said they would, and they ultimately did, but it took 3 weeks. What was worse is that I called multiple times and emailed multiple times just trying to find out IF they were going to give me my money back, but because I never heard back, I assumed they weren't. They eventually did though. In fact, it wasn't until I wrote this negative review that I got a call back from them the first thing the next morning. I ended up removing the shower glass with a friend and it wasn't even that hard. The people here are very respectful and friendly, but in my case they over-promised and under delivered, and they rarely returned my voicemails or emails. They set my project back by a month.

We had a small flooring repair and a door installation. They missed the promised start date twice, which was frustrating since I stayed home from work both times to meet the contractor. The contractor then spread out the days he came to work over a month. It seemed like he kept starting new jobs rather than finishing ours, which could have taken just a few days. Ultimately, he got about half of the install done and I ended up finishing the rest of the installation myself. The actual work that the contractor performed was very high quality and he was personable and respectful while he was on site.

I thought I knew what bad customer service was and then I decided to have this company remodel my rental unit. Worst decision ever! My project was delayed several times because of their incompetence. They sub out all their work. They upcharge on materials just because they are the ones purchasing them and delivering them to your house - seriously? Just pass the charges along. I had to check their subcontractors work (as opposed to their project manager) and it was not the best, and had to tell them 3 and 4 times to return to fix things that were not done properly. They blamed their poor floor installation on the product when it was clearly the installer being too rough, and in too much of a hurry while installing the product. I had to get another company to fix their shoddy work. After spending 5 figures with this company I feel that I got ripped off and I will never use this company and will encourage others to never use them. Save yourself the hassle, frustration and financial difficulties that this company could put you in. Do not use Denver Hnadyman Services. Worst communication and customer service I ever experienced. There is a lot more I could mention about my bad experience, but this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Matt and Brian went above and beyond and I can't thank them enough! My HOA was a huge pain to deal with and any other company would've probably walked away many times. I can imagine how busy they are right now after the pandemic, but they were very patient and delivered such a high quality work that I was amazed. My balcony looks beautiful now! They are definitely the best deal in town as I called many other companies and none come even close to what they offer in terms of price, value and customer service. They came up with the best solution and also explained everything in detail. I already recommended them to a neighbor on nextdoor and will recommend to other people as well!
