Danny is very responsive and quick with his quotes. They started promptly and on time. Work proceeded efficiently and with attention to detail. I hired them for a job patching some water damaged drywall on my tall vaulted ceilings. Danny did great work patching up 3 large areas and then repainted the entire ceiling. They matched the texture very well and it's impossible to notice the patched areas. It now looks great just like when it was new. During the job they covered the floor and the area with drapes to prevent dust from flying around. At the end they cleaned up and removed all debris.

I hired Dan to patch drywall in the ceilings which were opened up to install recess lighting. He came highly recommended and I'm fully satisfied with his work. Dan cares about the output and took his time to do a nice job. The ceilings look great and it's difficult to tell there was patch work done. He left the place clean and tidy. Would definitely consider hiring Dan on any future projects.

I initially thought I was getting a good value with Dan Pena Drywall as their bid for a popcorn ceiling removal, smoothing of the walls, and repainting the entire interior was by far the most competitive. However it has proven to be a major disaster that would cost far more to fix. Not only were there major delays and cost overruns, the drywall is now easily damaged by a mere bump. Worse of all, the paint has started to come off like paper. This is completely unacceptable. They are promised to address these issues, but have never shown up. Even worse, after leaving a negative review on another website, they said that I was confused with another company even though I have all the invoices and emails to prove otherwise. Be aware!

Danny and his team were fantastic to work with! We had a patch of drywall that had been removed last spring for mold remediation, and after we got the roof patched this summer we needed to repair the drywall and texture and paint the area - and we added on a trim installation and paint job nearby. Dan Pena was prompt in all communication, reasonable in price, and great to work with - and the result looks GREAT! Perfect texturing and blending of paint. They even patched and painted a few other drywall dents nearby while they were at it. And when the trim paint I had didn't match, they did their OWN match that looks perfect. Great attention to detail. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!

Danny recently finished two drywall and insulation repair projects for us at our rental property and primary home. Both were caused by water damages, one from water heater leak and one from roof leak. We are very satisfied with his high quality work and professionalism throughout the process. The repair project for the rental property needed city permit and involved multiple-step inspections which made it tedious and time consuming. It was also more challenging and difficult since some walls were behind the water heater in the corner with very little space to work with. The project also required him to coordinate and work with a plumber to finalize the water heater connections to meet the latest codes. Danny tackled all the challenges with great planning, skills, dedication and hard work. He diligently followed through the inspection process and delivered high quality work at very step. As a result, we passed the inspections successfully. We felt very lucky to find him as our contractor to complete this difficult project smoothly. We were also impressed by his craftsmanship through his drywall repair work at our primary home which involved fixing and reinstalling drywalls in bathrooms and closet, matching the existing textures and shaping an arched window perfectly. He always communicated well, reliable and keep the work area clean. We highly recommend him.

I've been extremely impressed with Dan Pena Drywall. I've used him for two sound proofing jobs. One in the ceiling to dampen the sound from upstairs neighbors and one on a shared wall between apartments. He was incredibly fast, clean, and conscientious of the people living in the apartments. He knows his stuff and was able to explain it to me. He charged a fair price as I got a few quotes for the work. He dealt with mistakes I made in getting the correct texture of paint. On the second job, he even fixed some patches, from prior plumbing work, where the texture of the wall didn't quite match. I will without a doubt reach out to Danny for the next job I need done, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs sound proofing, drywall, or work on ceilings.

Hired Danny to do some drywall repair work following some major window leaks. Also hired him to do some ceiling tile replacement for office. Good guy; Attention to detail; Responsible; Clean; Good problem solver; and Good work ethic. I had some issues after work is done and he came back to address all. Also ceiling tiles replacement involved removing specialized equipment which I was going to hire a tech to do - but he figured out and did it himself. I would hire Dan again and again.
