I was very pleased with the work completed by D&R Construction and Painting. David Rivas and his son, John, were great to work with. Their personalities are friendly, amiable, and trustworthy. I received a detailed and comprehensive estimate for the project. After we agreed on the cost, the work began and was completed in a timely manner over the course of two days. On the first day, all the construction work was completed. The second day involved the final painting and finishing touches. The end result was a renovated chimney that looks brand new! (See the attached before-and-after pictures; I think you will agree.) The crew on site was professional, conscientious, focused, and diligent in completing the task.

David and his team did a fantastic job painting the garage doors and exterior of my parents' home! They were precise, quick and professional. Communication was thorough and prompt. We needed the outside of our house painted, they started work immediately and had completed the job in about 2 and 1/2 days. They were professional kind and courteous and did a fantastic job. I did not have to do any prep work prior to them coming, and they put everything back just as it was when the job was complete. I would recommend a million times, and we will be calling them to do any construction jobs that we need moving Forward. I prefer a company that I can text rather than having to make phone calls because I'm so busy and they were super easy to communicate with through text.

David's crew repaired some broken fascia on our home. They also pressure washed the entire house and then painted all the wooden trim as well as doors, gutters, columns and carport ceiling. The crew did all the work in a couple of days and it was done perfectly. We highly recommend D&R and will be making them our first call on future projects. They were also the lowest quote for the project.

David and his team fixed my ceilings, and gave my front porch a facelift! Best experience I have ever had with a construction company. They promised I would be 100 percent happy with the end result, and I am. They arrived on time and worked hard everyday. Carlos is such a hard worker. This was the second time I have used D&R Painting & Construction to paint the exterior of my 3 story house. The first time was in 2017 in which they did a fantastic job and again now 2025. Its a very professional honest family run organization. The entire team of painters are extremely courteous, respectful and polite. They showed up every day until the job was complete and then did a walk through with me to make sure it was to my satisfaction. I love that their price is always fair and they offer a 3 year warranty on their work. I would use them again.

They painted my living room and repaired a 15 ft ceiling. The painting was done quickly and we'll and even though the ceiling didn't go perfectly the first time they came back and fixed it with no fuss. Would recommend.

They did a great job stripping wallpaper, prepping, and painting 2 big rooms in our house. The work was quality, the crew worked hard and did a great job protecting the floors, cabinets, etc. in the areas they were working. The rooms looked great and the price was very fair. Thanks to David, Omar, Carlos, and Efrain for a great job. Update August '25...D&R did another great job for us this time painting the outside of our house. It was a big job with several different colors to apply on many different areas and surfaces and they finished the job in 2 days. Everything was discussed ahead of time to make sure about the colors and scope of the work to be done. They had to replace some fascia boards and soffits as well and do a lot of patching and caulking all over the house. They were thorough in everything they did and paid attention to details. And communicated with us throughout the project to make sure everything was done the way we wanted. Hard workers and very skilled crew.

We hired D&R Painting to take down the wallpaper in our kitchen and master bathroom that we hated since we bought our house and they did an amazing job. Omar is a really nice guy, very knowledgeable and easy to work with and his Dad, David, came by to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The crew was very efficient, and they finished the work on the timeframe provided. They worked on both rooms at the same time and made sure the new colors we picked and the repairs they had to do to the walls from the wallpaper removal was to our satisfaction. We were very happy with the results and would definitely contact them again on future jobs.

We hired D&R painting to tear down and rebuild our 20x16 deck. They showed up the day they said they were going to and were done in 6 days. Davids crew did an amazing job from start to finish updating us every day on the progress. My husband and I work all day so it was a breath of fresh air when they communicated with us every step of the way. Highly recommend and will use them again in the future when we decide to do our basement!

The D&R Painting and Construction team is top notch. They are extremely professional, responsive, and focused on customer satisfaction. Originally, I hired them to replace my old deck and paint the trim on the exterior portion of the house. Within the first day of them working, I decided to have them complete other projects that I have been waiting to do. They were able to add the work to the overall scope of the project and still finish in a timely manner. Their quoting process was fast, and they discussed all aspects of the work with me. I used D&R services for exterior house painting. I did have difficulty reaching the company initially. It took several attempts and I almost gave up and chose a different company. However, David called me back and explained the delay and it was totally appreciated and understandable. The project was completed within 4 days of starting. I was thinking it would take longer but the crew was fast and paid attention to every detail I asked for. I was very pleased with the results and I plan in using D&R for interior house painting in the future.

D & R completed several jobs for us. They repaired our fences/gates, rebuilt and stained our porch. All of their work was excellent and completed in a timely manner. I had great communication with the project manager throughout the work. I have since referred them to several family members.

I called around a few contractors for an estimate and they were definitely the lowest price. They came and made our garage into a studio, added a kitche and bathroom. Everything was done quick and well. I have nothing but good things to say. Very professional and good at what they do! Would definitely recommend for any small or big job!

I hired D&R to install several windows and window molding. There were several differences in what materials were expected to be used so be sure that the quote is clear on all points before you except it. The owner of the company handled any of these issues professionally and I was happy with the results. The work looks great and they take pride in making you happy. I prefer to do most of my own work but sometimes you need to hire out some things that you cant do yourself. These folks are a good choice if you want it done right.

!!!! Please be aware, they are deleting negative reviews, this company doesnt operate in good faith and appears to not have insurance for their work. Upon request they provided expired policy information and then became unresponsive.!!!!!! Watch out.....terrible experience, many issues with the work and unwilling to respond and fix problems resulting from their work.

I recently had a bathroom renovation done by David, Omar, and D&R Painting and Construction, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite being paid, they failed to address issues promptly, leading to severe consequences. Weeks after completing the project, our shower wouldn't drain, and attempts to contact them were futile. This negligence resulted in my ceiling collapsing with me underneath, putting my family at risk. Not only did they ignore calls, emails, and texts, but they also sent us expired insurance, raising concerns about their professionalism. The aftermath has been disastrous - damaged floors, furniture, and ongoing electrical problems. What's equally troubling is their consistent removal of negative reviews, a shady practice that reflects their lack of transparency and accountability. I strongly advise against using this company. Their unethical practices, lack of responsibility, and disregard for safety have left my family in a difficult situation. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from D&R Painting and Construction.
