I highly recommend Coastal Construction. Wes does great work for a fair price.... Heres my situation. We wanted to renovate our tub and shower surround. It was looking a little shabby from having well water. The original idea was to have Coastal Construction put up the new surround and someone else was going to glaze the tub. Based off of our tub glaze guys recommendation, we set up doing all the plumbing and surround and painting first. Wess team did a great job on his part... When it was time for the tub to be glazed, the guy told us it was actually too far gone for him to work on and changed his recommendation to go with a bath fitter. Again, following his expertise, we reached out to bath fitters, and they said we would need to tear down everything and have them go in first. Frustrated, we started getting quotes, for removing the tub and just getting a new one. Wes reached out as a courtesy follow-up and we explained our situation. He then gave us a great price on taking out the old tub and putting in the new one. We still had to take down the new surround and put it back up again. But the finished product looks amazing! Thank you Coastal Construction!

I hired Coastal Construction Group to do a bathroom and mudroom remodel in my home. They charged me $68,000 in an upfront deposit and did not perform to their agreed timeline nor to industry standards. I will need to spend another $15,000 to fix poor workmanship in the 75sqft bathroom. The worst part is I asked for a refund since the deposit was for the entire project and I don't want to move forward for any more shoddy work. Wes, the CEO of the company blocked my cellphone number and is not making any attempt to act with integrity or honesty. I'm very disappointed in this experience. I think they took on too many projects and are probably good at siding, but I can't recommend them for anything else, especially considering that he is not responding about the deposit and has essentially stolen our money. EDIT: thank you for finally responding, Wes. Id be happy to talk to you about how you can fix the poor workmanship and provide a refund for work not performed. You have my number but blocked it, please give me a call any time.

We had CCG at our home for a bathroom remodel and to make a new mudroom. Wes did not perform as would be expected in terms of quality, punctuality, and professionalism with the bathroom remodel. The quality is very low at a level of a poorly done DIY project. He did use quality subcontractors for electrical and plumbing so we are thankful that these got done right but even they expressed frustration with working with Wes. We now need to have a different contractor fix Wes' job and a professional painter to fix his substandard paint work. The amount of money we gave Wes (more than $60,000) is ridiculous for the quality and amount of work performed. It seems likely that he is stretched too thin and also he may not be suited for work outside of siding (I hope they are good at this). I would not recommend CCG for any remodeling work.

I have had these guys to my house on several occasions for different jobs, and they're always fantastic. They are siding specialists but also fantastic general contractors. They can handle basic to moderate work with plumbing and electrical, along with any demo and construction needs you have. This means they don't contract out on most jobs and don't have to drive the price way up. They're good at what they do, they always offer a price that's hard to match. They're humble and kind, great with my daughter. They respond quickly to texts and are often able to schedule work in less than a week. I couldn't recommend them more.

Best construction group in the area! We hire them for the second time because they are really fast and they have reasonable prices. They work very clean and neat. After they install our dishwasher we decided to stick with them, second time they replace our ceiling fans and they look amazing. I truly recommend them.

Coastal did new James Hardie siding on my house in Wallingford recently and I couldnt ask for any more. They gave me new siding that looks great and will last forever! They were timely and kept a clean site and provided everything they promised. Give them a shot and you will be very happy.
