Highly recommend Charlie. Him and his staff were prompt, professional and courteous start to finish. He was responsive to all communications prior to starting the job and followed through in every aspect. I had a ceiling repair done along with all the ceilings and trim on the first floor painted. I am a meticulous, detailed oriented person and Charlies work is outstanding. I will be hiring him again in the future.

My basement ceiling had split open and there was the risk of the whole thing coming down. Charlie came to assess it and gave the ceiling an excellent band-aid until I could save up enough money to get the whole thing fixed. Charlie came back this week and fixed the entire ceiling. It was a 2 day project and everything went extremely well. Charlie and his team were professional and left my basement looking spotless. I would definitely call Charlie again for other projects.

I had a ceiling in a great room that had a textured ??? finish. Over the years the ceiling looked like it was graying and it looked outdated. After finding Charlie's info on Google and Angie's list I contacted Charlie after reading his reviews. He was advised of the issue and made an appointment to come and view the room. He arrived punctually, looked at the room and advised me what he would be doing which included completely sanding of the old finish. Repairing any issues that he may find, the process he would be doing and the start date. This was agreed upon and on the start date Charlie was here right on time, put down drop clothes on the floor, plywood over that to protect the hardwood floor and plastic sealing off the room. Charlie also talked about painting the walls which was also done after sanding the walls and repairing any issues that he found. It took 3 days for Charlie and his worker to complete the job. The work area was cleaned up after the work was completed with no mess left behind. My wife and I were extremely satisfied with how good everything came out and would recommend Charlie to anyone needing ceiling work. or painting. We are having Charlie return in the near future to do another room for us.

We hired Charlie to repair several areas of wall damage in several rooms in our house. He came to give us an estimate, we hired him and he scheduled our repairs fairly quickly. He showed up as scheduled, did a good job of protecting our house from debris, finished in a timely manner and cleaned up after he was done. Very professional, easy to deal with and very competent. We highly recommend Charlie.

Glad we hired a Pro ! Had a 10 foot hole in our bedroom ceiling from a kitchen reno. Hired Charlie to patch and paint. I have to say the results came out excellent. My wife is very happy. Crew was on time every day, cleaned up, and kept us well informed of the progress. Would highly recommend.

We were extremely pleased with the work done on our two ceilings. We had two leaks in our attic that caused staining on the ceiling (one of which the water was bubbling through and we were very worried about it). Charlie came out and inspected the damage in person before giving us a quote (whereas other companies just gave quotes over email or phone after looking at pictures), and when it was time to get the work done, he did exactly as quoted and it came out great. You can't tell at all that there was work done. We would 100% use Charlie's Drywall in the future.

He and his partner showed up on time every morning. He did everything he told us he would do in a well laid out quote. The work product was top notch. We had some water damage to our bathroom ceiling due to a leaking HVAC system. Charlie came and did a detailed inspection and project layout in his quote. They are a reasonably priced and a no nonsense team that gets the job done to a top notch standard. Everything was straightforward throughout the entire process. He even removed and patched some old speaker that no longer worked and properly mounted some lights. The ceiling looks better than it ever has before, highly recommend.

A recent second floor plumbing leak repair required cutting about an 18" square hole in the textured ceiling of our kitchen which we just remodeled a couple of years ago. I did some searching and requested estimates from several people however only Charlie said he wanted to come over and actually look at the ceiling to understand what was involved and to give me a proper estimate. Charlie came over and took a good look at the damage and told me what it would take to do the job properly and have it blend in so as not to be conspicuous. We could not be happier with the result. Perfectly repaired. You could never tell. The repair including painting the entire ceiling with two coats of paint was completed in one day. You can't tell where the repair was done but I can tell you Charlie did a better job than the person who did the ceiling when we remodeled. We plan to use Charlie for additional work in the future. We highly recommend Charlie's Drywall.

When my husband and I bought our house in 2018, I immediately disliked one of the walls in our living room - it was covered in wood paneling from the '70s. I dealt with it for a couple years before buying some adhesive foam brick panels in an attempt to find a quick, cheap solution. But, those were almost as bad as the paneling. I wanted the paneling torn out and replaced with drywall but it was a relatively small residential job so I had a little bit of trouble finding someone who would take it. I found Charlie on Google and sent an email. He responded very quickly and was able to come out within a couple of days to assess the job and provide a free estimate, which included a price as well as a detailed summary of the job process. My husband and I were very pleased with the estimate and the detailed communication, so we booked the job immediately. Charlie came out to complete the job a few weeks later. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as how long the work would take - sometimes it's dependent on what is found behind the wall. But Charlie and his associate arrived right on time and the entire job was completed seamlessly in less than one work day. They did beautiful work and we are thrilled with our new wall! Five stars for promptness, responsiveness, professionalism and great work!

Charlie and Richard did a fantastic job. I have large cut outs in each of my bathrooms (3 in total) where plumbing work needed to be completed prior. The original contractors couldn't even get the drywall to line back up correctly when they put it back so it sat unevenly for months while I searched for the right guy. They came in and fixed all three spots and you wouldn't have any idea that a 3 foot hole was made prior. So grateful for them. They patched and painted my stairway and halls too so you can't see the prior paint marks. It's amazing what true craftsmanship and a fresh coat of paint will do. Clean up was incredible. I was braced for dust and debris....it's like they were never here. Thanks Charlie!

November of 2023, I hired Charlie and his crew to repair my living room ceiling where I had 2 large drywall splits from water damage that came from the upstairs bathroom bathtub leaking. He also painted the entire first floor ceiling at my townhouse in Hudson, NH. Charlie gave me a very reasonable quote and did a fantastic job! The ceiling and the paint job look better than when it was new. I am very, very happy with the work and professionalism that Charlie provided me with. Charlie is very punctual and has exceptional talent in the construction trades. I am going to hire him to do work for me at my home in Manchester this winter, (2024). Charlies Drywall and Painting can't be beat, and he is as honest as a man as I have met. Great job, very happy with his work! Update: I had Charlie and his crew come to my home in Manchester this past week (February 19-23, 2024) to repair drywall and do more painting for me. Charlie repaired the kitchen ceiling and painted it with just the very best results I could have asked for. It looks better than when the home was first built back in the 1980's! I also had Charlie paint the ceilings, doors, trim and walls in my upstairs living room, bathroom, hallway, middle floor foyer, downstairs hallway, and both the upstairs guest closet, and the downstairs storage closet. He also repaired the drywall on my ceiling in my upstairs office and repaired and painted a large drywall seam in my downstairs hallway wall which has bothered me for over 25 years. Charlie and his crew did exceptional work, and I am SO VERY HAPPY with the fantastic results! It feels like I am now living in a better than brand new home. What a great feeling when I come home every day and now find that I am so much happier and relaxed in my home, now that everything looks so great! I would absolutely recommend Charlie's Drywall to anyone who is in need of ceiling repairs or other similar services. I had 3 places throughout my home that needed either damage repair or re-texturing from previous repairs by others that were finished in a way that did not match the ceiling pattern through the rest of the house. Charlie assured me during our initial meeting that after he completed his work, nobody would be able to tell which areas he worked on because they would blend so nicely, and he was right! Not only did his quality of work produce a flawless result, but he was extremely professional and accommodating, super easy to work with. He conducted the work (which spanned 2 days) in a sequence that was very thoughtful in creating extremely minimal impact to us and our living spaces during the repairs.
