We have used CertaPro in the past and contracted them again because of their high quality.. Burak and his crew painted our upstairs, about half of the house. He was very responsible communicating and keeping to the timetable. The work was meticulously done. One room had wallpaper that they removed, and they removed it to paint. Afterwards you cannot tell that the room was ever papered over. After the job, he quickly returned to touch up the blemishes that were (mostly) caused by the moving back.

These guys are just outstanding and I highly recommend them. They will give you a realistic estimate unlike other top reviewed painters in the Havertown area. They are so accommodating and professional, they repaired the damage, caulked, and put several coats of Duration by Sherwin Williams on my house. The last paint peeled because it was box store paint, now I won't have that problem. It took them only 2 days to paint my house. It is just beautiful. Wouldn't hire again. Communication was good before the job about scheduling, went downhill from there. We were supposed to have two painters for 2.5 days. One of my pre-job questions was do you use "employee" model vs subcontractor, etc. and told yes, employee based. Turns out one of the two workers who showed up was a "day worker", and didn't return after day one. Hardware was removed and holes not filled before painting in multiple areas. On my "walk through approval" an entire double door way frame, and bedroom door was not painted that I pointed out twice, and many other spots missed. I think dust and dirt was just painted over. I have pin drops of paint on my hardwood floors, furniture, mantel, etc. ... you get the idea. Not the quality level I was expecting. I also received a "review our work" link before they even showed up. They were $800 more than another quote, I thought I was buying reliable work. Oh well...

Fair price, thorough job repainting sills and facia around the house, including some lintel repairs. We had a rotten sill that would have cost a lot to mill and they cut a piece of wood and shaped the edges to make it look similar to the original. Then they went furthet and made another one for the window next to it that prior owners had removed and stuccod over. I didnt even have to ask for it. (My husband said, they did allll that painting for that price?) Very nice gesture and why they get five stars.

One area required touch up following completion. I reached out repeatedly to James but was ignored for six weeks. Finally, I was referred to Ben. He gave me a line of crap about the delay, but I was able to schedule for the repair. Unfortunately, no one showed up that day to do the extremely small job. It should have taken less than an hour. I have come to understand that their business practices are both misleading and dishonest. They will take your money but do not stand by their work. Take caution and use anyone else to handle your painting needs. P.S.- after a great deal of stress and wasted time finally someone showed up for this simple job. He drove into a retaining wall and over a drain pipe on my property and then drove away. Still no repair, so I did it myself. In my 40 years of working with numerous contractors this group is the worst. Can't wait to see how the story will end. Stay tuned. And stay away from Certapro of the mainline!

I put in requests for consultations with "painter A" and CertaPro on the same day. Don't hear anything from CertaPro for basically two days and they never send me any sort of confirmation email or acknowledgement that the appointment had been scheduled. CertaPro calls me 45 mins before the time I requested to "confirm my appointment." I tell them I've already gone with "painter A" (who emailed me back the same day I put in the request and scheduled a consultation for the day after) and the CertaPro guy goes "Wow, ok" as if I wasted his time. You wasted your own time due to poor communication.
