EAGAN, MN Ceiling repair We found out we had water damage to our ceilings. After searching and contacting some less than optimal contractors that came off uneducated to my husband. We finally ran across Century, immediately we could see the competence level was much higher. We ended up hiring Century and they did not disappoint. Look at the photos! The work was flawless. We really appreciated the friendliness of the workers and even gave them snacks and drinks after a long day working . The cost was fair and comparable to other contractors. We cannot stress enough the skill level and professionalism we received from these guys. You will be hearing from us when our son needs his house done later this year.

They fixed water damage to kitchen ceiling and installed new exhaust fan in the bathroom. Just went to change bulbs and both fixtures were just dangling there. On the cupboards and above was an absolute mess. Every fixture cupboard every light bulb. Absolute crap work. The drywall installed on the kitchen ceiling was a different thickness than existing so there is a big ridge.

The complex angles on the ceiling proved to be the difficult part as you can see in the pictures. Plymouth popcorn ceiling repair. The ceiling in our townhouse had extensive water damage. We contacted Josh at Century Drywall. Unlike other companies they actually answered the phone and showed up to the estimate on time. Josh was great , professional from the start,got us the estimate in about 1 day , we start the job 4 days later. The crew was professional as well, very polite. The job took 3 days the crew showed up each day as promised.Really happy with the results,now we can put our home on the market. Quality job and a decent price. We will use them again.

We would not recommend working with this company. Josh is not communicative and then blames you, the client. We had his team remove popcorn ceilings in our master bedroom and nursery. We were told 4-7 days and the project took 14 business days. We found ourselves taking time off work to intercept his workers and ask for updates because no one was communicating with us. Additionally, we found that his team damaged our vanity and tile. When I surfaced these damages to Josh, he said "I'm not saying you're lying but.." and "it's like getting a scratch on your car." His company has no regard for your property. When painting the ceiling, they left drops all over the carpet that we had to clean ourselves. They left unflushed pee in our toilet for multiple days, which we found and proceeded to take care of. They screwed up our screen door which we found, brought to their attention (versus the other way around), and subsequently fixed on our own. When it comes to the quality of the work itself, they came twice to fix the errors in the ceiling and after the third time, it was resolved. I will say, the work turned out beautifully, once it was completed but not worth the damage caused to our home nor the stress. Choose a different contractor.

These guys were great! I called on a Friday and needed popcorn removal By the next Thursday when I was having carpet put in.... they worked over the weekend and the final guy came Monday during a snowstorm to finish up!!.. great work all the way around and I would for sure use them again!! they removed popcorn ceiling and put knockdown up. AWESOME WORK!!!

1987 home in spring lake park,mn remodel project We had some serious water damage on our ceilings ,we decided to do a little remod project since the ceiling needed to be done.We ended doing more than we wanted (of course!)Anyway we hired Josh over at Century drywall,he was great I meet him initially he had some great ideas and I felt a comfort level with him right away. We recieved the estimate via email,my husband made the deal and Century started the work on the date promised. Josh said the time frame would be 6-8days he was spot on,it took 6days to be exact. There were no issues at all the floors were covered and other items protected as well. To be honest the job was so smooth the time went fast with zero hiccups. The communication was great josh gave us couple pictures as the drywall phase. There were zero issues with the workers being left in our home unsupervised ,they stayed in the work area and didn't wander around our house. What a relief to find a NORMAL contractor out there. Be careful we have had bad ones and Century is diamond in the rough,literally! Keep up the good work guys!

Great job with some regret!! Roof leaked in to our living room ceilings,we contracted century drywall.Josh wash our contact.From the initial estimate to final payment things were handled very professionally.I included pictures p I took as soon as they finished,the paint was still wet,hahaha.Look at the knockdown texture! Also the cleaning was also wonderfully.We love it.They were able to finish to do Job while we were at the cabin on a extended weekend.So much less stress to have it done when we are gone,our dog would have been a night mare to deal with during this process.The way Josh handled the job was great,he definitely knows his stuff. The only REGRET we have is not doing more of the ceilings in the house when we had a chance.

In March of 2021, Josh Marchand from Century Drywall & Painting commenced work on my basement. During the quote process, I specifically stated several times, very very clearly (as did my insurance estimate, also very clearly), that I need a vapor barrier installed behind the drywall that was being repaired by Century. When Josh wrote up the contract, I didn't notice that he left the vapor barrier out. When I realized that Josh left that important aspect out, and didn't do the work as we negotiated before I signed the contract, I asked Josh about rectifying the situation. Keep in mind, we had a verbal agreement before I sign the contract (bad on me for not looking closer at the contract), and an email history of me asking to be sure he included the vapor barrier in the job. In my opinion, when you blatantly disregard a verbal agreement like that, and leave out a vital aspect of the job, you need to make it right with the customer. I tried to work with Josh on a resolution, but he refused to redo any work, and in fact, he threatened me with a lien on my property. I ended up having to pay Century for the work they did wrong, and then also I had to pay another company to come in and redo all the work. It was a nightmare for me and my family, who had already been displaced due to a flooded basement. My suggestion is - DO NOT USE CENTURY DRYWALL & PAINTING for any job. Josh turned hostile and threatening, and caused a considerable amount of additional stress to an already very stressful situation for my family. I meant to post this review a while ago, but forgot until now. Thank you for reading, and good luck on your projects.

We contacted Josh about painting all 3 floors of our condo and repairing several small holes in the dry wall after our tenant vacated the property.
