Update 8/9: Today, Scott , the owner continued his unprofessional behavior over text by berating, harassing and threatening legal action due to my below review. With that, I have amended my review, changing the rating from 2 stars to 1 star to better reflect my ongoing experience with Burlingame Drywall. If youre considering hiring a contractor to repair walls in your home, I do not recommend Burlingame drywall. Hired to repair nail pops/drywall, prime and paint wall/ceilings. While the work started out strong, in my opinion the owner realized they took on a larger job than expected, they rushed to finish the work and it shows. Repeatedly complained to me, the customer, how he shouldnt repair old houses... after already taking on the work. He did come back days later to fix a few things. After sharing photo of a cracked ceiling seam, that any reputable contractor would come and fix, there was no reply. We now need to hire another contractor to properly prep and repaint walls. See photos: - Improper wall prep before painting (Primed and painted over wet mud?) resulting in multiple areas where paint is either bubbling due to moisture under paint or there are visible pockmarks - Use of dirty rollers, leaving bumps and gunk under the paint. - Ceiling seam cracking less than 30 days from work completion - Zero effort to even out ceiling textures - Cigarette butts thrown in the yard by workers - First two days, will be like new. last two days, youll never be happy with the result

We are doing a full renovation at our house in Marbletown. We've had a string of bad luck with contractors so far, with the additional challenge of currently being out of state. But Scott and his team came in and did an amazing job of installing our drywall for us. Our place needed a lot of attention before the drywall could even start. Scott went above and beyond what we could have expected of him. He straightened out the window framing that was not installed correctly. He added 45 studs that were missing. He cleaned the place up, patched holes in the floors, added insulation that was missing. He was able to get the place in great shape to pass inspection for the drywall to begin. Note, this is not what he normally does, they do drywall, but he saw it needed to be done, and did it. Most importantly, the drywall installation came out beautifully!! They even installed amd framed out a wall next to the fireplace to hide a structural post, which can now be used for firewood or shelves. These guys know what they are doing and we couldn't be happier having chosen them for the job. Scott is a great guy, professional and polite. I highly recommend him and his team for any drywall job!!
