Thank you BMR Contracting for a major save! I was experiencing drainage problems in my home and my only bathroom was unable to be used. Hot water heater failed Saturday night. Called many businesses in the area Sunday morning. Roger and his team were very quick to get on site, identify the issue and get it resolved. All done by 1pm. Will definitely use again.

Ive used BMR Plumbing here in the Utica area countless times, usually when Im in a pinch, and they always come through. Their response time is incredibly fast and they take care of the problem the right way the first time. Their reliability and professionalism are the reason I keep calling them whenever I need plumbing work done. Called BMR after my furnace was making very loud noises, in the middle of the night! On the other end of my phone was a very understanding man. Sent someone out at 3:30 am to check. Tech assured me that the issue was not dangerous but that another tech would be sent out the following day. After examining my 1970ish furnace, with no parts in existence anymore, I ordered a new one. At a very reasonable price, techs showed up next day early. Had a new furnace in a few hours. Very professional, hauled old one away. Would highly recommend them. Knowing that they also do other services as well, I will definitely call them in the future. Thank you BMR!

Call This company for a estimate to repair burst water pipes at my friend's house who was in the hospital. I met Roger the owner at my friend's house after waiting over 3 hours from the time he said he would be there. It was Friday afternoon. I showed him the problem. He gave a general estimate. This was agreed on and it said he could start the next day Saturday or Monday. Saturday came on went! So I figured he would be there Monday. On Monday I expected a call from him saying what time he would send someone out. Around 1pm after not hearing from him, I called and left a message. He called me back and before I could find out when he was coming he got another call and said it was the guy that would be coming. He said he would call me right back. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM AGAIN! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNRELIABLE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!.

My husband and I woke up yesterday morning to our sewer backing up and overflowing. Searched Goggle for help, decided to take a chance on BMR Contracting. Saturday- 5pm- I get home from work and my furnace has quit working, it is 10 degrees outside. I called BMR - left a message. got a call back less than 10 minutes, Patrick trouble shot my problem over the phone, had my furnace running. then called back 3 hours later to make sure I still had heat. I have never had such exceptional service . I will call BMR next time I need any contracting done. Amazing. thank you so much

I am very satisfied with BMR contracting for fixing my well pump and restoring my water to my home. I called on Saturday afternoon and they were going to come that evening but I opted for them to come in the morning on Sunday. Roger contacted me in the morning a technician was there shortly after and my Water was restored. The technician was polite, knowledgeable, and explained what the problem was. Roger called after to make sure that I was completely satisfied. I would Highly recommend BMR contracting services.

I can't thank BMR Contracting enough they are amazing. My pipes froze and I called a few people abd nobody would help me then I called BMR Contracting. They were great they came out very quick and took care of the problem and were so nice and efficient. It was great service and I would definitely recommend them they did a great job.

BMR helped guide me through a frozen pipe issue and gave me recommendations for the best path in regard to repairing/replacing my washing machine. I spoke with Zach, Roger and Patrick. BMR helped us with a kitchen faucet replacement after we came home to find it leaking. They quickly responded to our service call on a Friday night and promptly made the repair the next day. We would very highly recommend BMR and will certainly be calling them for any future home repair needs. They worked on my plumbing today as an emergency and my basement was flooding and shower was backing up. They were fast and professional and took great care of me and my issue. They were fast and I am soo happy to have used their service and highly recommend them to everyone.

My husband (Kevin Holmes) has been BEGGING this company to come out since September for a roof repair and they have failed to do so. JC All Star Solutions INC came out in a snow storm to make the repair when BMR wouldn't come out in the sun shine in October. I would absolutely not recommend this business to any of my family in Utica. Roger made multiple promises and no repair was made. It took until December to get anybody out to look at the roof and now they are waiting for better weather to make the repair. BMR made multiple promises to my husband to come out and never did leading to him leaving a poor review on here where Patrick and Roger made additional false promises for the repair that never happened. Yesterday was 45 and sunny in the afternoon and their roofer made no attempt to make the repair. Use JC All Star Solutions INC!! Looks like BMR lashes back on their poor reviews so take a look at my husband's account with BMR for the issues. Again, use JC All Star Solutions INC instead!!

Don't do it.. tells you a price range over the phone then left me with a bill 550 over.. roger and Patrick are super pushy. The work down I later found out.. and fix on my own now for 5 bucks cost them that. DONT DO IT! CALL AROUND!! EDIT TO REPLY: I was a customer of you guys, you reply this to everyone who leaves a negative comment.. some people don use their real names. Please people,, DO NOT LET BMR DO ANY WORK THYE WILL RIP YOU OFF!! Please read all of the reviews not the fake 5 star reviews.. Roger is huge on begging you to leave BBB reviews and 5 star on google.

We just moved into the area and needed our heating system serviced. I looked online and found BMR Contracting and decided to use them considering their high rated reviews. And they did not disappoint. I spoke to "Roger" and he got a serviceman to come out to my house immediately. Not only was the serviceman professional and knowledgeable, he was genuinely friendly and polite. It was a pleasure just to have him at my house and a conversation with him, lol. After the service visit, Roger called to see if the service went well and if there was further service needed. Then he put me in touch with an accounts payable person to finalize my small bill and she was the nicest, friendliest person. All of this A+ customer service over a simple service check up? Well, that's how BMR Contracting does business and now they have me as an added customer for all my housing needs. Thank you Roger and BMR Contracting for EXCELLENT service and attention to detail.

My experience with BMR Contracting was exceptional! I had a toilet that needed to be unclogged and BMR was at my house within 15 minutes. They handled the problem in a timely manner without any issues. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional and also gave us advice on how to prevent any issues in the future. I couldnt be more impressed with the plumbing service I received. From start to finish, everything was seamless! The plumber arrived on time, was incredibly professional, and communicated every step of the way. I have to thank Roger for his knowledge and understanding of the job to be done. The main drain needs help, and its not in a good place. After hearing what needed to be done I got pretty nervous. I cannot say enough good things about this company! My sump pump became disconnected and was releasing water into my wall. I called and actually got a person on the phone immediately! Roger came out within an hour of the call to look and give me an estimate, and later that afternoon his team had it repaired. I called BMR contracting on a Saturday (3/8/25) at 9am due to my furnace not lighting. By 11 o clock they were at my house and assessing the problem. The gentleman that arrived was efficient and knew what He was doing. He not only assessed the issue but he also helped my husband learn more on how to maintain it. Come to find out we needed an entire new furnace. They gave me options on what and how I wanted to do things. They were upfront about the price. They allowed us a few days to decide what we wanted to do. In the meantime they helped keep our furnace running for three days in the meantime. They showed up the following Tuesday (3/11/25) around 9am to install my new furnace. They were honest and quick. They even removed my old furnace and cleaned up their mess. They didn't charge me extra added fees like most companies. Anytime they needed different parts or changed the plan they let me know immediately. The entire process was quick, honest and fair. I highly recommend this company as they actually care about the people they are doing work for. I'm impressed beyond belief. The owner even personally drove to my home after the project was completed to make sure I was 100% satisfied with the work. Come to find out they do everything, small or big! I will most definitely call them for future projects and recommend them to other people I know. My new furnace is efficient and running smoothly. I found them by accident on Google and I'm happy I did. From start to finish they were more then happy to help do whatever it is that I wanted or need done at that time. I'm feeling thankful and grateful that things ran so smoothly and it's all thanks to them!

We discovered our sump pump failed at 10pm on a Saturday. I called BMR Contracting on Sunday morning, and Roger came out to do an estimate within 2 hours. He sent his guys out the following day to install a new sump pump and enlarge the existing hole to accommodate a proper basin. We were in a bind and Roger and his crew came to the rescue with fast, excellent work!

I hired BMR Contracting (Roger Doyle) from Utica, NY based upon the BBB rating of 96% and good reviews on YELP. I just bought a new home and it needed some repairs. I contacted Roger Doyle with BMR and he came out quickly. He said he could start right away during peak time for contractors. That should have been a red flag to me, but I missed it because I was grateful to have the work done right away. That is one of the many RED Flags I should have caught, but didn't. I am a single retired woman and I don't know anything about the "Contractor" world and I had no family to help. From the beginning there was bad communication after they got my down payment. I originally hired BMR to remove a tub/shower and replace it with a standup shower and repair the floor under the shower due to rot and fix the drain plumbing in the basement from the sink, shower and toilet. The shower they installed was the cheapest plastic unit you can buy and a standard toilet they replaced. They kept the original vanity sink and replaced the faucets. I wanted manufactured flooring throughout my house. Roger Doyle kept asking for more money for materials and down payments for work to be done. I wouldn't get invoices for some of this because because they would ask me on the day they "needed to get the stuff." I have asked several times to get receipts and still haven't received them months later. Roger showed me samples of flooring and I picked out one, but they installed something totally different; the cheapest flooring available, 1/4 inch vinyl plank flooring and didn't even install the color I picked! The flooring is warping and buckling. BMR subcontracted a galvanized chain link fence and replaced a small beam above my fireplace and did a little drywall finishing repairs and a couple minor things. I felt rushed and taken advantage of, but they were already on site and I needed to move in because I had to get out of my other house that I sold. I didn't, at the time, know how much I had given them until they were finished and I went through my finances. I knew I was giving Roger a lot of money, but I didn't know how much this stuff costs and I trusted them. After looking at what I gave Roger, I thought it was a lot for what was done. I asked a friend, who is a contractor, if he thought that I got a fair price for the money. He about had a heart attack and got really mad that someone would take advantage of me like that! Roger ended up taking my life savings! I ended up giving Roger Doyle, BMR Contracting, over $100,000 for a job that shouldn't have been over $25-$30K MAX. This price was given to me by several contractors. DO NOT use these Criminals! You will regret it!
