I'm honestly astonished about how bad of an experience this was. I requested a quote to repair an unfinished job. Frank came in and left another unfinished job. When you say, "I'll repair all," I expect a finished product. He applied tape and 3 quick coats of compound. Absolutely no sanding. There's pits, exposed tape, and beveled edges everywhere. When I inspected the work and expressed concern, he grabbed a wet rag and rubbed 3 places. Said, "You'll never be able to see it under paint." I asked him to sand it and finish the job. He said, "no, that'll take too much time and will cost you 2x as much." I was so frustrated that I paid him and asked him to leave.

Frank was punctual to the house. We had four areas that needed to be patched up (two because of a leak and two because of a tractor). The guys from Blankenship Drywall came right in and started getting to work. What wouldve took me a day and a half took them a couple of hours. And best part of it was is it actually looked better after they were done than it did prior to the leak! 100% would recommend if you have any work that needs to be done. I had seven drywall cracks repaired and the price was fair $380. However the quality was okay. I had to get the ladder out to correct a few parts of the repair where the tape was showing and smooth out the mud. I understand stuff like that happens and I resolved that but I cannot resolve the ceiling texture that applied to heavy. My texture was spaced out but when the repairs where done the texture was applied way to close causing it to be noticeable across the room. I'll have to undo the work that I paid for, not to trilled about this. Please see the photos of the before and after of some spots and the texture difference. All other work on walls have been good after sanding, priming, texture, and painting, never going to be perfect but better overall.

We called frank both times and both times he showed up in a timely manner and was extremely professional and well priced. One leaks was into the ceiling and we had imagined it was much worse than what it actually was. He could have easily taken advantage of our ignorance but instead he was honest and re adjusted his quote to half of what he had originally quoted due to it not being as severe as what we had described over the phone. I had some water damage to my popcorn textured drywall ceiling due to a water leak. After getting several estimates, I decided to go with Blankenship Drywall. The process was pretty simple yet straight forward. I called and explained what I needed. Frank (owner and does labor with help of an assistant - Larry) has me text him pics of what I needed repaired. He gave me an estimate almost immediately. I decided to go ahead and schedule the repair work to be done. Frank and his assistant Larry showed up 15 minutes earlier (awesome) and got the repair done in about 2 hours. The popcorn texturing looks almost identical and seamless. I am 100% satisfied with every penny I spent to have this repaired by Blankenship Drywall and will without a doubt be using them in the future for my drywall finishing and repairing needs. Highly recommended! Pricing was not the lowest estimate I received but it was also at least half as much as the two highest ones I received from other companies. Go with Blankenship Drywall and I guarantee you wont be disappointed. These guys do amazing, highly quality work. 100% legit and have been in the business longer than Ive been alive (Im 35). Just cant express enough how much I appreciate the honest pricing and professional work these guys have done. Edit: forgot mention the only way you can tell where the repair was is due to the difference in colors. Frank did a great job with the textured ceiling in my kitchen. We had a leak from the upstairs bathroom and needed to patch up the drywall. Most of the other drywall guys didnt want to take the job because it was too small and tried to up sell me. There are also very few contractors who can do the textured ceiling. Frank responded right away. He was upfront about the cost and always arrived early. When we had to reschedule to get the electric fixed first, he was able to fit me into his schedule and get the job done quickly. He also patched another piece of drywall for almost no extra money.
