To update my response from APC, it was very clear in writing of what the scope of the job was going to be. It was simply trim and door paint. After seeing several other complaints you do charge considerably more than other companies, and the fact that you use only subpar paint for that price in my opinion you still are taking advantage of people. Especially my elderly folks. Good day. This was the email that I sent to Rosie On The House, who Arizona Painting Company is one of their recommended contractors. I thought I would share this with everyone who is thinking about doing business with Arizona Painting Company....FYI they never responded to my email. You think that they would support them or maybe have questions about the quote?? Hi Rosie, My name is Bill and I have been a long-time listener to your radio program. I'm writing on behalf of my parents who are in their 80s and my father has starts of dementia, so my mother had asked me to find a ROC painting contractor. They live off 37th Avenue and Happy Valley Road and they wish to have their fascia and trim painted, not the body of the home. I received quotes from four licensed contractors, two from your recommended list and two from Nextdoor recommendations. They are as follows: Arizona Painting Company - $4066.66 after discounts=$3050.00. Dunn Edward's Evershield. Dave's Adobe Painting- $1375.00. Dunn Edward's Evershield. Rhino Exterior LLC- $1200.00. Dunn Edward's Acri Hues. Primo Paint LLC- $1177.55. Sherwin-Williams Duration. All four companies have current and active ROC's with no complaints, except Arizona Painting Company, which has one (closed case on 2023) no big deal. Here lies the issue, when I received the quote from Arizona Painting Company, I was appalled of the amount of money that they were trying to charge my parents. As you can see above, compared to other quotes from register contractors, they were almost two and a half times more than the other three contractors. This is extremely disturbing that you are recommending a company that is trying to take advantage of, in my opinion, the elderly and also only offering a lower grade paint which was Dunn-Edwards vs. Sherwin-Williams. So, I just wanted to share this information with you, do what you wish to do with the information, but I believe it's something that I would take seriously if I was in your position. Easily the worst experience Ive had with painters. They did minimal prep work and painted over old cracking paint. They got paint on my windows and screens which ruined multiple screens. They didnt clean up after they were done and left paint chips and paint all around my house. The concrete now is stained with paint. They were the most expensive quote we got but convinced us saying they do better prep work and caulk around windows and doors. They missed caulking in multiple places and just a few weeks later we have cracking caulk and paint. Do not use this company!!

We hired Arizona Painting Company while preparing to sell our home, which was already a stressful process with three children and both of us working full-time. After receiving four quotes, we chose them based on a recommendation and initial confidence during our consultation. Unfortunately, our experience quickly became disappointing. We met in February and scheduled a start date of March 11. We were told someone would contact us the week prior to confirm paint colors, but we never received a call and had to follow up ourselves. On day one, the foreman did a walkthrough and said they would start upstairs. Only minimal prep work was completed on two bedrooms before the crew left early, promising to return the next morning . Day two was even more concerning. Only one worker showed up, the foreman was absent, and prep work was still incomplete by midday. We also observed workers frequently leaving to vape. I will say the project manager was responsive and communicative when I reached out, and did try to address concerns. That evening, a serious incident occurred. We were alerted via our Ring camera that there was an issue involving the crew and our neighbors. When I called the foreman, he stated they were disposing of paint by digging a hole and burying it on the property. Given how close our homes are, this understandably upset our neighbors. The situation escalated into a confrontation, resulting in police being called, and the crew was told to leave. When we returned home, prep work was still unfinished, no painting had been completed, and there was trash left behind. A new crew arrived on day three and completed the job in a single day, which highlighted how inefficient the previous crew had been. However, communication remained poor at the management level. I attempted multiple times to reach a supervisor but never received a callback before the weekend. While we were eventually offered compensation, it was not proactively handled. I had to follow up myself to address and correct the compensation, which added to the frustration and made it feel like resolving the issue was not a priority. Weve hired many service providers over the years and have never experienced anything like this. This project caused unnecessary delays in selling our home and added significant stress. Given the cost and importance of this work, we expected far better professionalism, communication, and accountability.

My initial experience with Arizona Painting Company (APC) was okay. I told the sales guy I was going to get multiple quotes but he still kept trying to make his pitch better by lowering the price and telling me "everything would be painted by hand". I also told him after 2 days, we would have housing items delivered which he said would "be fine as long as theyre in the middle of the room". We also agreed to 4 paint colors. Here is where I feel I was let down. During the painting, we had the items delivered as agreed in the quote. Apparently, the sales person did not add the notes we discussed, so the painter complained to a manager that there were furnishings in the home and our contract said empty home. I went over to the home and saw that everything was in the middle of the room as discussed. When I told the manager this, she said she would update the notes. It ended up being fine and the project complete. At the end, we were satisfied with the job. Everything looked great and clean. I highly doubt they painted by hand as 1 month later, I found the picture I uploaded (you can see the old gross yellow paint they missed covering up). I emailed them a month ago about it and attached the picture and have not heard back since. Here is the problem. I like the job they did, but I didnt like the sales tactics and I dont like the fact that they havent responded to my email. Because of this, I will not use them in the future.

I dont write reviews very often, but Arizona Painting Company earned every word of this one. We hired them to paint our home in Queen Creek, and Juan and Romo were our crew for the entire week. I want to be specific about that because when youre inviting people into your home for a full week, the experience matters just as much as the finished product. These two guys genuinely cared about both. From the moment they walked in on day one, it was clear they approached the job differently than I expected. They werent just there to slap paint on walls and collect a check. They were thoughtful. Every single day, they would stop and check in with us before making any decision that might affect our routine. Hey, is it okay if we... and Would you like us to... were phrases we heard constantly, and I mean that in the absolute best way. They anticipated where things could become an inconvenience and got ahead of it before we even had a chance to notice. That level of consideration is genuinely rare. You dont find that with most contractors, painters or otherwise. Their work was meticulous. They took their time in the right places, protected everything that needed protecting, cleaned up after themselves every day, and treated our home like it was their own. Not once did I feel like I had to keep an eye on anything or follow up on something I was worried about. They just handled it. Theres a certain peace of mind that comes with that, especially when youre living in the house while the work is being done. The finished result speaks for itself. Our home looks absolutely stunning. The lines are clean, the coverage is perfect. It genuinely feels like a different house in the best possible way. I first heard about Arizona Painting Company through KTAR radio. Larry Gaydos endorses them, and after this experience, I completely understand why. When someone with his credibility puts his name behind a company, you pay attention. He wasnt wrong. We just had the exterior of our home painted by Arizona Painting Company, and I have to say from start to finish, it was a great experience. I love that theyre family-owned. You feel that. Theres pride behind the name. Christopher, our estimator, was prompt and thorough. He walked the property with me, pointed out areas that needed attention, explained everything clearly, and made sure it was all included in the quote. No surprises. And the price? Ultra competitive. Honestly, I dont know how you beat that especially with an established, family-owned company that stands behind their warranty. Once we scheduled, Rudy and Dustin showed up ready to work. They took their time and did it right. If I had a question, they stopped and answered it. Pure professionalism. At one point, a field manager even stopped by to check on things I apologize I forgot his name but that extra touch mattered. Heres what really stood out: we have a backyard pillar surrounded by a 20-year-old plant I did not want disturbed. Other companies told us it would have to be removed to paint properly. Rudy and Dustin handled it meticulously without damaging a thing. That took care and skill. From the office staff coordinating scheduling to the crew on site, everything was smooth and top notch. They covered the sprinklers and took our light bulbs out and they never came back and put in the light bulbs and uncover the sprinklers. We have no lights and we close late. Updated. Hired APC again because they have lots of good reviews and maybe I just got a lousy sub last time. Nope. Even worse this time. Work left undone. Face plates and smoke detectors not reinstalled. Terrible and slow communication. Took an extra 3 weeks to get all the painting done and lots of little things still not complete. Do not recommend and I wonder how they have so many positive reviews. My lousy experience from 10+ years ago: Hired Arizona Painting Company to do some minor drywall work and paint an entire large home. They were the lowest bidder by a fair margin and now I know why. The drywall work was acceptable, but texture matching on large areas was very mediocre. Most (not all) of the walls are well painted, but there are a lot details that are really sloppy. Many paint spots on the downstairs tile from the ceiling. Several spots on the carpet where paint was spilled and then just wiped up. Carpet edges along the baseboards are really sloppy in many places. A number of switch plates were not removed prior to painting which can leave a sloppy look when that plate has to be removed and replaced. To top it off they replaced a lot of the hinge pin door-stops backwards, which actually results in a hole being poked in hollow core doors.

Once again we are extremely pleased with the job that was done on our living room, dining area and hallway. The ceilings were completed first with a few areas requiring some patch work. Manuel Sandoval was the painter. He spent two days ensuring the job would be done to our satisfaction. He was meticulous when it came to painting the floorboards and door frames. Our buildings are around 100 years old, and Arizona Painting Company has provided beyond excellent service and care to help us upgrade our facilities. We are so thankful for them. Juan Romo and Eduardo did a fantastic job painting the interior walls of our house. Thry communicated with us about the job every day and made clear any problems they were having and how they were going to fix them. They were flexible with any items we forgot to remove and patches that needed to be made. They took thier time and were thorough with the job, still getting done earlier than we expected. We are very happy with thier work!

Love this company! I was in a jam.I call Turn over company because I needed somebody to come and paint ASAP. Spoke with Damian he said no problem. He got two people to come to my home and paint my whole house in A day's notice. They did a wonderful job. They were pleasant, they were knowledgeable.They cleaned up after themselves. I dont give out 5 stars easily. The quality of workmanship was excellent. They were responsive and did the job right and on time. Contractors are a dime a dozen. Dependable ones with attention to detail are a rare breed.
