I'm a little late on giving my review for Ace Handyman Service, but I couldn't let them or informing you guys-(the general public); go untoticed for the phenomenal job Patrick and Brian did for me! I contacted Ace Handyman Services after I found out a home project that I previously had done by another reputable Handyman services-simply ignored my request to come back out to my property. ONE, to "FIX" a project they already completed for me less than a year ago-(8mos); and TWO-to get another quote from them for a different project as well-(although, they were able to quote me over the phone..smh). What I'm MOST angry about is that the previous handyman services didn't provide any recommendstions previously, prior to starting the project I had to have "done over" by Ace-to ensure it wouldn't be a yearly maintenance fee for me. Ultimatley, this expensive lesson cost almost the same price on how to tackle this project that needed to be repaired! I thought handyman services, GUARANTEE their work for up a year! However, Patrick was able to save me a few dollars on this project. I liked Patrick from our first initial encounter. He came out and observed my issue, made recommendations-contacted his supervisor to see if it was even possible to "FIX" on what the other Handyman service actually did-then came back to me with his plan of action. Patrick, not only gave me recommendations, but his transparency, intrigity and empathic demeanor WILL ALWAYS have ME as their NUM #1 customer! I have other future projects, that I WILL ask/hire them to do "first" as well as I just obtained another property that needs work done on too! They WILL always receive my business first, handsdown! If you guys are anyway like me and HATE expensive "DO OVERS"-(projects that should've been done right the first time); I ABSOLUTELY recommend them! ***APRIL 26*** Had another home consultation..thought it went great. However, I didn't get the quote in a timely manner as promised. I even called to inquire about the quote. I was told that they would get in touch with the person who came to the home and I'll get a call when the quote was sent to me. Approximately, three days later- I get the quote and no phone call. Just appeared in my email. I'm already shopping around for someone else to do the job. It's giving me the feeling I'll be chasing for follow-up, completion, etc. Maybe, next time we can do business. Where is Patrick and Brian?

Rhett called and said he was running about 15 minutes late but made in within that time frame. Introduced himself, I showed him what we needed done and he got right to work. He installed a new kitchen faucet and removed the old caulking from the shower and laid down a nice new bead. Finished the jobs quicker than expected. Cleaned up everything. Good job, great person.

My Handyman, Rob was outstanding. He called me and said he was available earlier than my appointed time. He would come earlier if I was fine with that. I agreed happily. He arrived 30 minutes later. After showing him what I needed done, he began immediately. He successfully got my gas fireplace to work again and also completed my other jobs successfully as well. Back again (October 2035)... puppy got bigger, better trained, etc. So, I no longer needed the setup we started with. ACE/Brian came out again to help rearrange the only fence/gate/pen now only needed a few more months for when I have to leave him alone & hes still not ready to have full-home access just yet. Brian knew exactly what to do & how to arrange things to allow for optimum results with max space in his secure pen when alone & maximum. Use of all living space when hes not alone & can have full home access when we are here. Brian also helped to hang a quilt high on my concrete walls while he was here. You just cannot go wrong engaging ACE Handyman Services for Anything (even the unusual requests)!!! I can honestly say that ACE is my "go to" whenever I need someone that has all the needed tools & better capabilities than I do for any household projects. I contacted Tools on Call Hardware a couple weeks ago to take care of a list of items for my sister in Myrtle Beach because they had high ratings. I am in Massachusetts. It couldn't have been any more of a debacle, and ended with the owner not taking one ounce of blame and gaslighting me. He ended his rebuttal saying he didn't want my business. Thanks, pal, you did me a solid. I rapidly called ACE Handyman Service Grand Strand as their reviews were superior, as well, I just saw Tools on Call, first. They got back to me/us right away and we were put on the schedule as soon as there was an opening to satisfy the potential time it would take for the jobs. They also provided an estimate which I believe was very fair. The appointment was was less than a week later and first thing in the morning. The Handyman, Robert, contacted us on the way over to my sisters, and was early, at that. I was told that he was like Santa in that he went right to the work and banged everything out expertly and promptly. He was extremely respectful, professional, and genuine in personability to my sister - a single person, and never a question of safety or trust whatsoever. Robert finished the jobs in less time than was originally estimated, and ACE Hardware fairly deducted the time difference and original estimate. I would definitely use them again. They are fair, trustworthy, honest, hard-working, experts, and unlike my first experience, exactly what I was looking for being almost a thousand miles away. Thank you so much....especially Robert. You are the best.
