Keith and his team were wonderful! Will definitely hire them again. They remodeled a bathroom in our 120 y.o. home. Great job matching the outside wall/trim after replacing our old window with a smaller one. Made sure the floor was flat before installing a new shower and flooring. The guys were here on time every day, kept the place clean, and made sure we had a working toilet each night when they left. Unlike other workers we've had in the past, they always to take the extra steps to make certain that everything worked properly. And no surprises when the final bill came!

Keith and his very talented team remodeled an old 1900's home I purchased that was currently a rental with 4 tenants. It was a whole home remodel inside and out! They are truly magicians!!! I was budget minded for a rental and they far exceeded my expectations. The little aesthetic touches I wasn't expecting were a nice surprise. Keith communicates promptly which is very refreshing these days. I gave him many little things to remember and he got them all!! He made the process much less stressful dealing with all of the college kids that were in the house making sure not to do too much at once so they weren't overwhelmed. Not to mention I live out of state and wasn't there to check up on the progress. I never felt like I needed to be there due to his communication. He sent pictures and stayed on time completing the project in 12 weeks. Thank you just doesn't seem sufficient enough. I am forever grateful and blessed to have the work done right the first time. We had been searching for a contractor build a 40x72 barn with a finished off section for 2 years. We attempted this project with 3 other contractors, but all three times we were lead along for months and had a tough time getting calls returned. After discussing our frustrations with a local electrician, he put us in touch with Keith and A1 General Contracting. After sending Keith our plans, we had a foundation 3 weeks later! Things after that happened like clockwork and now we have a structure that exceeds our expectations. After our previous experiences, good communication was of high importance. Keith was always easily accessible. I cannot say enough good things about Keith and the other guys at A1 General Contracting. It is without hesitation that I give them my highest recommendation.

A-1 did an unbelievable job remodeling our century-old Twin Lakes cottage. The job involved building a second floor above the single-story portion of the cottage; two brand new bathrooms; and remodeling, drywalling and reflooring the pre-existing rooms. The quality was top-notch. Since we live in Missouri, the construction took place in our absence, so efficient communication was important. Keith was always available for questions and had great ideas. I have nothing but good things to say about A-1!

Brian, Steve and Rob all performed OVER THE TOP on our recent project. A-1 installed a ceiling in our shop which meant 'hiding' a lot of our homes utilities. The job also included a new staircase in the garage leading to the Bonus Room. This part of the project required moving a window which was done so professionally you cannot tell from inside or outside that the window was moved. We were continually impressed with the professional workmanship performed by extremely skilled workers. We could not be happier with A-1 and they will be our choice in the future. .
