This was my second time using Pure Drywall to perform work in my home. I received an estimate for painting four ceilings, the estimate was fair, so I scheduled to have the painting completed. Steve, the Project Manager did an outstanding job, getting the right crew and materials to my home, on time as scheduled. I could not be more pleased with the results. The team was professional in every way, courteous and friendly. If you need painting in your home I would not hesitate calling Pure Drywall.

TLDR: Look elsewhere for drywall work. Competent drywallers are everywhere. These guys charge more than the job is worth, are unprofessional, lie, don't show up on time, don't return calls, leave your house a disaster, and don't finish the job that they took money for. I paid them up front for 50% and ended up having to eat that cost and pay another contractor to fix their work. Not worth the time or hassle, don't risk it with these guys. You have been warned. I would give 0 stars if I could because this company literally stole from me by taking my money and not honoring the agreement. EDIT 2: The company eventually reached out, attempting to bribe me with $1000 to remove this review. I think they have new ownership now and are trying to fix things. However, they owe me over $1400, left my house worse off than before they started, damaged multiple areas of my house they were not even contracted to be in, and were completely unprofessional the entire time, not showing up or returning calls when promised. So I did not accept the bribe, and will be leaving this review up to reflect the truth. EDIT 1: This company said they would reach out to me and investigate my case. They said this in reply to this exact review, you can see it at the bottom here. They lied. They never contacted me or made any effort to make the situation right. NEVER USE THESE GUYS. They are thieves. They take your money and don't show up and don't do the work that was under contract. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Stay away from these guys at all costs. Be warned and read my short little synopsis. Terrible experience working with this company. Had them out about 2 months ago to repair some water damage in my guest bedroom ceiling. Quote was pretty high but I didn't care too much cause it was insurance so I went with them. First red flag hit when they showed up 2 hours late to the job on the first day. The 2nd day, the contractor arrived late as well, in the early afternoon, leaving almost no time to complete work properly before the day ended. The contractor rushed the job and ended up doing a terrible job. Quality was horrible and a lot of the the water stain spots that they said they replaced drywall, they actually just cut corners and painted over everything. When I called them back to try to see if they would fix the problem, they obliged but then showed up late again to the job site when they came to fix mistakes. The second day of fixing mistakes, they completely did not show up until I called them wondering what was going on. After all these issues I decided to cancel the job and hire someone else. Pure Drywall refused to refund me any of the almost 2 grand I put as a down payment even though they destroyed my house and made it harder for the next contractor to fix the mistakes. I have legitimately never had a business experience as bad as these guys. Stay away.

Wow. I am beyond impressed with Pure Drywall. Seriously, they did an absolutely incredible job on a total disaster of a room, and it looks just amazing now. And when we found two small areas that got missed, they immediately apologized, came back the next day and fixed it right up! I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Took a day off ( Thursday)so I could make sure I was available for the estimate. Someone came out, did some measurements and left. It's now monday and haven't heard anything. Found someone else who is coming out and working on it tomorrow. Wasted a day for nothing Thanks guys

Absolutely terrible. Had work done in 8/21. Room left a mess that took 2 hours to clean up then required 8 more hours of work to be ready for paint because of all the Waves across the floor and ceiling, all the areas not even screwed in, the unsanded areas, the multiple low spot and gouges that had to be filled... owner came by and never even spoke to me... twice! Told lady that called to charge me the balance that I couldn't tell how it looked because of how dirty it was left and she didn't even acknowledge me, just charged me and hung up. DO NOT HIRE this company charged top dollar for a terrible, incomplete job. Better business bureau aware. Am pursuing arbitration. There are good companies out there just not this one, they will ruin your day.

The work was satisfactory. The professionalism is the issue. Floors need cleaned properly and grout has tough compound stains in it from floor not being covered. Issue was not resolved. 100 bucks off the bill doesn't cover my time spent for something you guys should've been aware of and corrected after the fact.

So I usually don't do this but I found this situation to be a waste of time and honestly pretty strange. I had them out to do a quote for a 10x15 addition and things went well. The man that came out was very attentive and wrote down everything that I wanted. I then got a phone call from there office asking about the pad that I needed poured, again no big deal. Then I get called back to be told that they wont give me a quote at all with out actual plans drawn up and that it would cost $3000 for them to draw up those plans. I was so confused that I called back I originally had asked for 2 quotes one with just the addition framed in and the other to be complete i.e.. drywall electric all that. When I called back I asked if there was any way I could get a ball park estimate the answer was no and also more confusion. Any way not going to write a book but it was a waste of time and I find it pretty interesting that its just a flat fee of $3000 to have plans for 3 walls and roof drawn. Don't waste your time.

Update--The company sent out a person to fix the repair on Aug. 19. He arrived on time and completed the work to a satisfactory level. I am still keeping the original text of my review, below, but they did fix the ceiling repair, hence the update. Original review from Aug 13: Hoping when they fix the repair I can update the review but right now, HIGHLY disappointed The good--service team was polite, clean and quick. The bad....should have known when they were over an hour late to the estimate (which had to be rescheduled because they were 2 hours late in trying to get to the initial one). They were over an hour late to the repair date, which they quoted would take 6 hours, but only took about an hour from start to finish. (Had I known, I would not have taken a day off of work or placed the dogs in boarding, incurring an additional expense). The repair of the stamped ceiling was supposed to be at least close to the adjacent part (I understand it would not be a perfect match), however, the mud was placed too shallow, and the repair did not look any better than that which we had already tried on our own (and the quote for their work was almost $800 for a small, 3 by 4 foot ceiling area). I expressed the dissatisfaction to the office worker who called to collect final payment, and she offered to have the repair team fix the work that same night, scheduled for 6-630pm arrival. Well, they did NOT SHOW. It is now after 8:30pm and an evening lost. Hoping to be able to update this after getting resolution from the company, but right now my advice would be to AVOID and look elsewhere.

Pure drywall did an excellent job repairing my two walls. One wall had a crack in the concrete and the other wall was crumbling plaster. They worked efficiently repairing both walls in a single day. Today you cant tell where the problems were. I could not be more pleased!

Called to get an estimate . They came out immediately. Price was very reasonable. After giving me a start date , I asked if they could possibly move the date up because it was an emergency , they called me right back and said their contractors were willing to work on the weekend and help me out. Couldnt ask for better service from a quality company ! I Highly recommend !
