The plaster on the kitchen ceiling was falling off! I called Glenn of Portland Maine Drywall and he came right out and assessed the situation. Within that week he and Stevie arrived and made the repair and the next day Gavin showed up to touch things up and sand. From beginning to end they were prompt, efficient, courteous, respectful of my home (put paper on floor and cleaned up after) and friendly. The price was amazingly reasonable and I am extremely happy.

I knew midway through our conversation that this was the company I wanted to work with based on his professionalism and thoughtful listening about my needs and tight timeframe. He scheduled an in-person meeting 2 days later and had a VERY fair estimate in my inbox the next day. And the great news is the estimate was the price I paid. I used Glenn at Portland Drywall for two different projects recently and would highly recommend his company. The first was an extensive renovation at my home that included sheetrock returns on new windows as well as Ceiling/Wall repair. It was a combination of an older home and a new addition. The project was more complicated than expected and Portland Drywall exceeded my expectations on all levels in terms of high quality finish, blending areas and working around a very tight schedule. His team was professional, on time, responsive and the finish product speaks for itself. I found his pricing competitive and his follow through excellent. The second was a smaller project at my son's home of the framing in of a new fireplace unit and drywall around it blending in to an existing wall/living room. Excellent job there as well and as always, very detailed. He is my go to for any sheetrock work!

A different contractor working in our attic broke through our textured ceiling in our living room, and their repair of the texture was obvious and unacceptable. Glenn and his team are phenomenal to work with. We first found Morse Builder through home advisor and hired them on to complete some drywall in our sunroom, we ended up expanding the job to all the drywall in the house, opened up a wall, paint throughout, framing work and extensive tiling work, after seeing what great work they do and how easy it is to work with them. They are timely, detailed oriented, easy to communicate with and appropriately priced. After the drywall was completed, we continued working with Team MB. They happily completed all the painting of the walls, doors and trim in the house which came out perfect! They also built a custom stand up shower for us, completed the tile flooring and custom tile work in both bathrooms. Our house was built in the 1900s, nothing was even or plumb in the entire house and they completed the drywall, framing and tile work beautifully. Let me tell you, the framing and evening of the walls before tiling was no easy project and they did it well and with ease. They even installed a beautiful sliding glass door in our upstairs shower as a surprise that is to die for!! Team MB are my go to for all future projects!
