February 2020: We hired Glenn and his team at Portland Drywall Co. to come in and hang sheetrock over the existing plaster and lathe walls and ceilings in our buildings rental unit. The plaster walls of the 100 year old house were un-even and in major disrepair, with many sections crumbled to show exposed Lathe beneath. I found Portland Drywall online after searching for drywallers near Portland Maine and I am so glad I did! I was pleased and impressed with the companies responsiveness. I left a message on the company cell and within an hour Glenn had called back, by noon he had visited the house and by the evening I had a (reasonable) quote for the job. On the first day of the job Glenn came himself to see the project started. He and his the crew had the drywall hung in a day. The guys came back the following two days and taped and mudded the seams and joints and by day 4 the walls were ready for paint. We have since primed and put our top coat of paint on the drywall and we are very pleased with the walls and cielings came out. Overall I would highly recommend Portland Drywall Co. The entire team was prompt, focused, polite and most importantly skilled. Glen gave me a fair quote. I wish the company well and I look forward to using them again on future projects. Charlie B.
