I would highly recommend Pierre Ruiz for any of your remodeling projects. Pierre and his workers and subcontractors are amazing to work with. He transformed my almost 40-year-old master bathroom into an amazingly beautiful modern one. From demolition day to completion only took a little over 3 weeks. They were meticulous in covering and protecting everything in the house and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day. Pierre really has an eye for design and color recommendations and guided me through the entire selection process. I could not be happier with the final result. I will definitely be using Pierre Ruiz Construction for future renovations.

Pierre Ruiz Construction was recommended to us by Sherwin Williams Paint on Jones Creek in connection with some painting we needed done at our home. The referral turned out to be more helpful than we had anticipated as we were also planning to replace some flooring in our bedroom and closet and Pierre raised some potential issues of which we were unaware. Based on his knowledge and experience, we had Pierre do the flooring as well as the painting, all of which turned out great. We have had home improvement projects done before, all of which turned out to be horrible experiences. So, it was a pleasant change to deal with Pierre and his crew who did a great job, especially with respect to making sure that our home was not damaged in the process. We planned to do a major renovation to our home and wanted to work with someone we trusted. When considering who to choose, we recalled working with Pierre Ruiz over 10 years prior when he painted our entire home. He did a wonderful job then and we knew he would refer us to someone who did good work. We searched and found his information through a vendor we used with him before. When we contacted him he remembered us and informed us he owned his own contracting business. We hired him on the spot! When he and his team came to begin work they were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable of their work. They helped us move furniture, covered everything, and were methodical about how they prepped the home. The work was completed on schedule and we were informed of what was completed every step of the way. Pierre and his team were amazing. Not only are they knowledgeable of their crafts, they are kind, fun, and great to work with. We consider them part of the family and miss seeing them daily. Since having our home remodeled we have referred them to multiple close friends and family members. We have plans to call them again when we move on to other parts of the home. 10/10 do recommend!

Pierre Ruizs restoration of our home after the August 2016 flood in Baton Rouge was absolutely fabulous! Pierre, his contractors, and all of the work crews were courteous, competent, thorough, and efficient. His overall management of the job was well organized, including a clear and accurate explanation of the billing. He showed us the tasks that he and his contractors could perform, and clearly identified aspects of the job where other vendors would be needed. He completed the work as quickly as possible, subject to scheduling constraints imposed by his suppliers during the busy flood recovery period. He always stayed in touch with us, and was accessible by phone, text message, Email, and in-person meetings. Throughout the process he gave our job a large amount of personal attention, which is a reflection of his professional approach to contract with a limited number of customers at any one time and perform well for each of them.

From the start to the finish, Pierre and all of his crew members were thorough and concise in doing all phases of the renovation. We commend everyone (the electrician, plumber, carpenter, painters, cabinet designer/installer, tile installer, project manager, and helpers) for their attention to detail and the care in which they all took to do their parts. It is evident they all take pride in their crafts by the quality of the workmanship everywhere you look in our kitchen. If you are elderly or have an elderly parent, make sure before they sign a proposal agreement, that you are involved. My mother was quoted a price on a job that Pierre's crew did for him that was almost 4 times (4,875.00) of what that same job would have actually cost to have done in a complete and professional manner. Due to the inkling that my mother had been taken advantage of, had a respected professional contractor come and assess the job that Pierre's crew did, who confirmed that my mother had, sadly, been "ripped off" but due to the fact that she had signed a legal and binding agreement with this company, she was obligated to pay the amount agreed upon in full. She did pay the entire amount but was left disheartened that as an 82 year lady, she had been taken advantage of.

I want to add to a previous review I submitted for Pierre Ruiz Construction. We recently had them give our master bathroom and "update". Ours was 23 years old and needed a "refresh". Pierre Ruiz Construction did a phenomenal job for us. It came out better than we imagined at a very reasonable and fair price. They were helpful along the way giving good feedback for us. We couldn't have imagined or asked for anything as well constructed and beautiful as how this bathroom turned out. I would highly recommend Pierre Ruiz Construction for any home remodels or repairs. Prior review: Have used Pierre Ruiz Construction for replacing soffit vents (that prior painters had painted over and blocked the air flow). Pierre's team did a great job fixing the issue. We then used Pierre's team to fix some damaged wood on columns; again, a great job was done. Pierre Ruiz Construction is very conscientious, does extremely good work and pricing is competitive. I would recommend Pierre Ruiz Construction and will be using them again in the near future.

In one word AWESOME!! Pierre Ruiz and his Team did an excellent job on a 50-year-old house. They took a house out of the 70s (popcorn ceilings, green and gold bathrooms, wallpaper, old light fixtures and wood paneling) and made it modern and up to date. They completely remodeled a small bathroom and opened it up. They put in new counter tops, tiles, plumbing fixtures and a tub. They painted all he rooms and took extra care to make sure the walls were smooth and the ceilings were textured after removing the popcorn. They put in new floors and tile. We needed barn doors and their carpenter made three custom doors. They are beautiful. We could not have purchased anything of that quality from a store. They were at the house every day from sun up to sun down. They cleaned up every day and took the trash away. Pierre said to let him know if we had any problems and he would come and fix it. Pierre and Carolina have an eye for design from years of experience. They will not let you go off the HGTV deep end when picking things for your house. I highly recommend them and will hire them again in the future.

I had a repair from some hidden water damage that was difficult to diagnose and in turn hard to find a solution. I reached out to several contractors with various opinions, but no viable solutions. Some even refused to attempt the work. Thankfully, I found Pierre through a neighbor. He assessed the required work right away, and proposed a solution. I am an engineer and will admit a very picky customer. Pierre exceeded my expectations and worked with me to resolve my issues with a permanent fix. He has been the most professional and experienced contractor I have ever hired. Not only does he and Carolina provide a timely response, but he shows up on time every time! He is now my go to contractor and my only call for all my construction needs. We had a lot of rotten wood and damaged siding on my son's home that also needed painting. I had gotten two other companies to take a look at the project but I had confidence that Pierre Ruiz Construction would provide the best service. I was not disappointed. They were on the job when they said they would be. the quality of the materials, Paint and caulk was top grade. The workmanship was top notch. I was told and have confidence that if any problems arise, they would make necessary repairs. I have not had any issues in the 6 months since job completion. I will call on them again if the need arises.

I initially had nothing but good things to say about them. Weve been in the house a little over a month and they helped with an issue that came back up from inspection to deal with plumbing. Fast forward to the other night we discovered flooring was wet and another plumbing leak behind the wall. I initially messaged Pierre to ask him if he had any inclination of what this could be. He responded that his plumber was on a big job and that they could possibly help in a few days. So I proceeded to get my own plumber to find the issue and we discovered the leak behind on the wall appears to have been happening for some time due to the rotten wood in the wall. I contacted Pierre again to ask if he could help repair the molded Sheetrock and rotten wood. There response was they would be here today to help patch it all up. He never showed up and then the said he wasnt sure if he would make it this week at all. I expressed the concerns of the wood being rotten that this issue has been present way before we purchased the house. He then proceeded to tell me the wood wasnt rotten before. The pictures show differently. He then called to tell me it wasnt really his responsibility anyway so I told him not to worry I would handle it. I just want anyone else to be aware so this doesnt happen to them. Also to add injury to insult are a few pictures from things from inspection that were supposed to be repaired but ended up not being fixed the proper way.
