We had Mudslingers handle the drywall installation, mudding, sanding, and primer painting in our basement living room and closet, and we couldnt be happier with the results. Their workmanship is outstandingeverything looks smooth, clean, and professionally finished. Beyond the quality of the work, the team was friendly, respectful, and great to communicate with throughout the entire project. Its clear that Mudslingers takes pride in what they do, and it really shows in every detail. Very timely in their response and first visit to quote our job. We had a water line leak above our kitchen and had three holes opened up in the ceiling to find and fix the issue. Troy was very professional and their quote was very competitive. Once we decided to move forward, their communication was prompt and courteous. Matching a knock down ceiling is not easy but they did great, kept the workspace clean and we are happy with the results! It was a small job but we felt just as important to them as a larger more detailed one. Thanks again!

I hired Mudslingers to fix a bathroom ceiling after a plumber had to cut a hole above the shower. I found Mudslingers on Angi's List. Troy was one of the first to respond on Angi's. His follow through and responsiveness were second to none. My situation was a tricky one requiring several approvals for the work, the price and the date in which the work could be done. Troy was so patient, thoughtful and flexible through the entire process. Once I could give him the green light, the work was done above and beyond expectations and completed to meet my demanding deadline. I would highly recommend Troy and the Mudslinger team!

Mudslinger hung the drywall for our basement renovation project; however, has not followed up to finish with mudding and taping. The project manager had a significant life event which I'm certainly sympathetic to, however after 3 promises to call us back in as many weeks they never have, and our project has stalled because we cannot complete finishing work until drywall is compete. Hoping to hear from them soon so we can complete the project

We hired Mudslingers for several projects, removal of popcorn ceiling, interior painting, and staircase remodel. While the removal of the popcorn ceilings and painting were completed to our satisfaction, we had a very disappointing experience with the staircase remodel. Mudslingers required a large down payment before starting the project (we were verbally informed this was in order to purchase the materials to be installed). The project started on time with the removal of the existing staircase walls and railings. After the walls and railings were removed, the contractor went to buy the materials for the new railings (i.e. posts, spindles, and handrails). Per our contract, the materials to be used were to be maple to match our hardwood floors. However, the materials in maple were not available when the contractor went to pick them up after removing the walls and previous railings. While at the supplier, the contractor phoned us and requested to replace the maple materials with oak. Put on the spot, we agreed on the condition that the oak could be matched to the hardwood floors. The alternative was to wait an undetermined amount of time for maple (and live with the demolished staircase until it became available). We were assured that the materials could be matched. After completion the contractor admitted that the grain of the oak does not match with the maple flooring and stair treads (a different contractor completed the stair treads). Mudslingers agreed to replace the oak with maple. After months of back-and-forth, the contractor brought samples for the replacement railings by and told us that the samples were maple. Upon further investigation we noticed the contractor had forgotten to remove the SKU label that indicated the wood was not maple, but in fact poplar. We notified Mudslingers that the wood was still not correct and since then they have stopped communicating with us. In short, we do not recommend Mudslingers for any carpentry work. Update: now that we have a toddler using the stair balustres to hold on, we noticed that they easily fall out (some are 3/8 to short and not attached with a nail), which is a safety issue. So besides being unprofessional and untruthful, they are also incompetent carpenters with no pride for workmanship.

Had them do drywall, tapping, mudding, sanding, texturing in my unfinished basement upon recommendation from my personal contactor. This is some of the best drywalling I've ever seen, and a league above the builders. Everything was laid out in contrsct, communication was no problem, and they finished ahead of schedule by two days. No complaints.

The crew showed up on time every single day. They were friendly, experienced and knowledgeable. They walked me through the project before starting the job to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted done. That made me feel confident that the project would get done right. And it did. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Troy and his crew. The price was competitive, the work exceptional and the experience amazing!!

I dont even know where to start but whatever you do DO NOT hire this company! I have never written a bad review in my life but I was completely burned by Troy and his team. I hired them 1 year ago to finish a room and a hall way with in addition to install 3 new doors. Every part of the process was done poorly and incorrectly. The doors were crooked, and installed with only 2" brad nails with nothing more to support the door! The drywall tape was filled with bubbles and was peeling up in several spots. they didnt bother to take outlet face plates off they just cut the drywall holes around them leaving 1/2" gaps around them!! They threw away my antique vent covers. The worst part of all of this was the fact that they cracked and entire wall of tile in my bathroom, a room they didnt even do work in! Initially they offered to repair the bathroom at a discounted rate. Given I had no other options, I agreed and we signed a contract for the work to be done mid last summer. When the time came they were a no show. On top of that they didnt respond to my emails, calls or texts. During the first estimate Troy boasted about how honest and responsive they were. Dont be fooled by this crook! What a disappointing experience.
