I dont write reviews much, so trust me when I say Badger Restoration is 5+ stars! Merritt was able to look at our mold issue in our basement AND start remediation the same day. They do estimation over the phone/photos, which was convenient. He was polite, honest, quick to respond and quick to start so we could continue with our basement remodel. Merritt explained in great detail what he would do. The remediation was affordable and priced fair. If you need to get a job done and done quickly, these guys are it!

We had a flooded family room and the carpet padding needed to be removed and the carpeting needed to be dried out. The vinyl flooring in a hallway also needed to be dried from underneath. Merritt was professional and very easy to work with.

Badger Restoration is definitely a 5 STAR Business!!!!! Last winter, we had a year of snow, rain and ice. It caused an ice dam near our foundation. Unknown to us, we had black mold in a corner of our basement. It affected my health. I had difficulty breathing, constant coughing, loss of voice and more. I had to move out of my own house. I called Badger Restoration and was immediately impressed by Merritts quick response to my call for help. He showed up as scheduled and stayed with the project. Merritt took all precautions to contain his work area, as to not contaminate other areas of our home. He was professional, friendly, and courteous. He paid attention to every detail, looking for all areas of concern and worked meticulously to resolve every problem. The completed job was above and beyond my expectations. I was so afraid to have my first night back in my house. But Badger Restoration removed all fear. My breathing was good and no more coughing. THANK YOU BADGER RESTORATION!!!! First off, WOW! Merritt was amazing to work with, from the first call to his final inspection, he was kind, open, and helpful. I can't say enough about how impressive his personal service of our situation was, we had water coming in through our foundation and not draining properly, due to the quick thaw and all the rain we had. Merritt took our cleanup process head on and dealt directly with our insurance company to make everything so much easier for us. He walked us through the entire process and showed us how our wood paneling had moisture in it, so he removed it for us. I can't say enough good things about him and this company, will recommend him to anyone that is in need. Keep up the great work!

Badger restoration did a great job on our mold removal and restoration. The job ended up being way bigger than he had anticipated yet he still made room in his schedule to make sure to get our job done and get us back in our house as soon as possible. Merritt was very professional and was a pleasure to work with. He kept us in the loop and gave us daily updates with pictures throughout the entire project. He worked closely with our insurance company and took a bunch of the stress and worry off our plate. I would definitely recommend his services to anyone who has any mold issues they need addressed.

Merritt and Josh did great work on our recent attic mold remediation. We dont know a lot of people in the Wausau area so I was hesitant having someone do this kind of work. I felt that I could totally trust him and he was great to work with. Excellent at explaining things and making sure I knew what was going on. He squeezed me in his schedule and was out the next day to take a look and get me an estimate. Within a week from contacting him, he had the project completed and it turned out great. Merritt and Badger Restoration are BEYOND PHENOMENAL!!! They are a 5*+++ company and I could shout their praises from the rooftop! Their pricing is fast and fair, communication is timely and thorough, the quality of work FAR exceeded our expectations and they are willing to do the 'extras' not necessarily a part of mold restoration (painting, flooring prep, etc.). Merritt was in my mom's home for almost 2+ weeks (I'm quite sure most other companies would have needed a month) and he was sooo conscientious to make her home safe from mold and toxins, and get her back in ASAP. My finished lower level flooded out in March of 2019. I called Northstar Restoration in Wausau immediately and was told, rudely, that they already had 120 people ahead of me and I needed to find some "friends or neighbors" to help me. He never even took my info!! So I next called Servicemaster and was told they would get back to me within 24 hours. They NEVER called me back. So, 2 days in, I was desperately trying to remove the water from the soaked carpeting with my shampooer and a friend suggested I call Merritt. I called, he came out that same night, set up fans and said he would return the next day with a dehumidifier and more fans. He came the next day, did what he said he would and stopped in every day for 5 days, working to dry out my entire lower level. I can't even imagine what I would have done by myself if he had not been available. Honest, reliable and very reasonable rates. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my friends and coworkers.
