Either this company has gone out of business or something shady is going on. I got an estimate for work in my house 2 weeks ago from Arlo, agreed on a price and signed a contract with them. After that I never heard from them again. My emails, calls and texts have all gone unanswered. Fortunately I hadnt paid a deposit yet, so I didnt lose any money to them.

Arlo was referred to me by my realtor after I bought my house, and took on the job of general contractor for a remodel. I thought he was really nice and Edgardo was amazing. For complete transparency, I'm going to be reporting this business because of Arlo, not anyone else. Arlo went tens of thousands of dollars beyond budget, went months beyond the prospective timeline, and literally could not provide me with documentation of where the money went/what it was being used for, and kept taking jobs over mine because he had no money left. It was one excuse, lie, and sob story after another. I wasn't even there most of the time, so I wasn't really in the way/micromanaging, until the end because again, way over budget and timeline and I was fed up. All I wanted was honest communication so I could plan my move and work in my new space, and my trust/initial hand-off approach was completely taken advantage of. Like, I just wanted receipts, and Arlo still hasn't shown me anything. The guys he was working with warned me (or my independent contractors) about some stuff he was doing and where some of my money might have gone-- no idea if that was true, and I never saw that myself, but you can imagine why I definitely wanted to see those receipts/pay stubs for the crew, especially since we were about 20k above budget. But none of them were provided to me! I've waited a few months now to post this review because Arlo was supposed to get me those things and maybe start paying me back (oh, did I mention he tried using me as a loan bank?). Anyway, apparently he's blocked my number because he doesn't want to face up to what happened, since I texted him about getting some of those receipts for my taxes, and he never replied. So, no, I haven't forgotten Arlo!

Arlo and his crew were great! I needed some drywall replaced after a pipe leaked in our basement and they did a great job! when I first called, he offered to come out the same day to take a look and gather information for the estimate. Arlo emailed me the quote the next day and was able to start work the day after I paid the deposit. I really appreciated how responsive and punctual he was during the whole process. We even had some leftover paint from a previous job so he went ahead and painted over the finished drywall too! Other drywall contractors we heard from wanted to give referrals for any extra work that is often needed when dealing with drywall (painting, caulking, replacing baseboards, etc.) I was very thankful that 503 Drywall was willing and able to tackle the whole scope of work for us. And lastly, they left the place tidy and clean. I would definitely recommend 503 Drywall! (They also speak Spanish so they would be a great option for Spanish speakers in the Portland area).

This review is long overdue for Arlo & team. We had 3 rooms in our '40s townhome with dated skip trowel that they covered with a smooth finish. They worked during the hottest week of 2021 and managed to finish the job on time. Would recommend!
