Jim did a nice job fixing our bathroom after we had mold remediation done. He also replaced a light fixture in a vaulted ceiling in our hallway, which I didnt feel comfortable replacing. Very professional. Hes already helping us with another project.

Guys, want to get your woman off your back? Call Jim! My husband didn't have time to get many things here at the house done and yes to shut me up, he called in Jim. Jim came in and talked with us about what we wanted first. So he ripped out my kitchen floor (all the assortment of layers of 60+ years) and installed new, they are beautiful. We feel so comfortable with him and his work that he will be visiting us for a while. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Jim does great work. Our floor had many old layers. He tore them all out and installed vinyl plank. Looks amazing. He did some drywall work and made a fake beam between 2 rooms. It's beautiful. We gave him another list which will be done soon. Reliable, honest and reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I posted on line asking for estimates for a pergola and shortly thereafter i received an email from Jim. I continued to ask him questions till after 9 on a Saturday night, which he answered quickly with knowledgeable info and helpful suggestions. If this interaction is anything like his work, he must be a 10+ on a job. Not often do you run across a guy who has all the attributes of a fine gentlemen. Needless to say, I was impressed. I say drop him an email if you are looking for great communication skills.

We had an issue with the siding and jim noticed we didnt have underlayment on the entire house so he gave us a few options to make it easier which we really loved but we went with the full job! He was prompt, honest, and had very fair prices with a warranty!! Ill be calling him again soon for any other issues that come up!

I had a serious problem with a closet that reeked of cat urine, and Jimmy came to the rescue! In just four hours, he transformed the space completely. He installed beautiful wood paneling, finished the trim perfectly, and most importantly, tackled the cat urine smell that I thought would never go away. What really impressed me was how he saved me money by pointing out a few easy things I could do myself, rather than charging me for extra work. He was also fantastic with communicationhe kept me updated throughout the entire processand was very punctual, showing up exactly when he said he would. On top of that, he was incredibly respectful and kind, making the whole experience stress-free and pleasant. Its rare to find someone whos not only skilled but also honest, reliable, and considerate. The room now looks amazing, smells fresh, and I couldnt be happier.

Jim is professional, responsive, honest, and his prices are very reasonable. Jims work is exceptional. I have additional home projects I need done such as painting, drywall, doors, and flooring. Window installation We recently hired WJC Construction Handyman for some work we needed done at our home. What a great experience we had with Jim Canfield. The fact that he called us the same day was surprising and a definitely plus. He set up an appointment for a Free Estimate and within days he was here and was extremely fair in his pricing. We would highly recommend Jim to anyone. He is someone you can count on, which is something hard to find these days. Very professional, extremely informative, and even took the time to explain everything with us. From the very beginning everything he said he did. He took it upon himself to fix something we didnt even hire him to do, just a great guy. We are scheduled to see him again in just a couple of weeks for additional work we need done and are looking forward to working with him again.

Im sorry to write this review but strictly professionally speaking would not recommend. From online photos his worked looked good but business is business. He sent me an estimate, we agreed on a date, after saying he didnt get my emails, and then changing start date, not showing up on agreed date, or any following up, I had to reach out the day of, only to find that he was not going to do it because he lost his worker, besides me canceling previous contractor who couldnt do it, or follow up, as well! hoping WJC (jr) would do it. Would not recommend only because a big thing for me is showing up to do the work, and following up! If your not going to be able to do it, not professional Ghosting and not reaching out to your clients that you cant do it. Reply You asked for $50 deposit (which you never picked up) You did text me June 27th date would work.
