I discovered David Wilson about a year ago after experiencing a botched job by another person on tape & floating a small home. U could literally see the seams. David came in & completely sanded, taped, floated, textured & painted. Looked great. Most recently March 2020, my wife & I had custom built our retirement home, our dream home and trying to save money doing some work ourselves & our own contracting work, although we did hire a contractor to frame our house out. The home is 2700 sq ft. David did a great job for us & I would recommend him. I know my wife really liked his kind personality and excellent work. Hes easy to talk to. We asked David to hang sheet rock, tape & floating & texturing. His bid came slightly lower than the competition. He did a great job doing our home. What do I like about David: He is nice & very polite & has great respect for the customer. He is easy to talk to and listens to your desires & wishes. He does not impose or push his opinions upon u but can express his opinions or suggestions if asked. He is very professional. He knows his trade well & his bread & butter is tape/floating and painting but hes good w a lot of things. He provides his own equipment. He has a contract that you sign that is detailed about the work to be done. You pay half up front which is pretty normal. He informs you that he may ask for a draw as he moves from hanging drywall to the tape/floating process. He doesnt slow down & has a strong work ethic. He had a crew of two people hang Sheetrock for him. They did a good job and David would allow them to work freely under his supervision. Once in the Tape/floating phase David and a helper did that. They did this quickly and skillfully. Before he textured he asked my wife what size orange peal did she want and gave examples of what that would look like. He doesnt mind us watching him work. And if we see a slight mistake or have a suggestion he goes out of his way to correct it immediately or do what your wishes are. He doesnt complain or whine but stays positive and focused on the work to be done staying in communication with the customer. He is also able to project w pretty good accuracy when he feels he can complete the job. Over all I would give David a grade of A or 5 stars on our project without hesitation and use him again. Finding good skilled workers that are professional and will do a professional job r hit and miss. Davids a winner in my book.
