Our experience with Van Beek was the low point of our house build and sunk our relationship with our GC. We'd previously used a smaller company and the quotes came out similar, but we'd heard Van Beek was the best in the area and GC assured it'd be a bigger crew. We ended up with 1 guy mudding 3400 sq ft of house half the time, which totally blew the timeline. The two mud guys who started were actually pretty darn good, but some of the hangers must have been high... they oversunk something like 20% of the screws in a couple rooms, which our painter discovered (some of which our painter fixed, incurring extra $). The kids who came to clean after the mud guys messed up the drywall around *every* window in the house. Van Beek offered to fix it all, but only after we painted... with the amount of drywall affected, my calculation was that repainting the patched area would cost more than me spending a week fixing the drywall myself.

I'm delighted! The drywall work on my house by Van Beek is excellent. No lumps, good corners, no "photographing" etc. I had a pleasant, friendly crew. They were a small crew but I have a small house! They were quick enough for my needs, clean, quiet and did respectable work. I'm almost done!
