Tolman Drywall performed a commercial add on for our company in the SLC vicinity. We had existing drywall, and added more to the Tennant Improvement space. They did a fantastic job knitting the old with the new, and even re-skimmed the old drywall to match the texture of the new. It looks amazing, they worked with our schedule wonderfully. I would highly recommend Tolman Drywall for all your residential and commercial needs.

Overall they did a good job, but in every room there are multiple drywall screws popping out through the paint, and more that will get worse. Only the walls seem to be an issue, I have not noticed any issues on the ceiling.

We were very pleased with the drywall crew and the tape/mud crew and touch up. They had a strong work ethic and did a great job...they were exceptional. We would highly recommend them. It was great to work with Wade Tolman as well. He was always responsive in setting things up.

I've had these guys do 2 buildings of mine. Wade, the owner is great to work with. The installers were very professional and really did a nice job. Their price was also very fair. If I ever build another building I will for sure be using them!

We have used Tolman Construction for multiple homes that we have built. They have done a wonderful, affordable and quality job on every home of ours. I had a house built last year. The builder used Tolman Construction for the drywall. They drywall joints show through the paint. Im taking with a good drywall guy he said the reason is some drywall guys go cheap only applying 2 coats of mud vs 3 coats. There are several areas that have little bubble holes from a poor mud job. And there are several areas with lots of scratches due to a poor sanding job. These guys do not know the proper way to do drywall. Theyre cheap and their work is extremely poor. Any contractor or customer should avoid them at all costs. Glad the builder I used has dropped them and switched to someone else who is doing some of the touch up to fix a lot these issues. Update: Ok. So my builders new drywall guy has been helping with a few issues. One of which was a joint that was showing. What we found was a complete joke of a job done by Tolman. The issue with the joint was that the joint was between two studs. Instead of cutting the drywall at the stud, like any good drywall company would do, Tolman's cut a 4" piece of plywood and screwed the sheetrock into it at the joints. The plywood was not attached to anything behind the drywall, just screwed into the drywall. when we cut from stud to stud we just pulled out the sheetrock along with this wonderful plywood joint job. What a joke! And it seems that they did the exact same thing on the opposite wall. The joint that shows on that wall you can push on and it just flexes, so definitley no stud behind that joint either.

My experience with this company has been excellent. We are general contracting our own house. The sales person I talked to was very patient with us and helped us pick finishes we would be pleased with. They also came to our house before hand to make sure we were all on the same page and give us an accurate bid. Originally they told us it would take them 2 weeks, it took them 1 week instead. We were amazed at how quickly they worked! When it came to billing, there was a mistake on our invoice. I called them about it. They were very apologetic and even gave us a small discount. To sum it all up I feel that this company is professional, hard-working and honest. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

They put drywall in our utility room and put a screw through a pipe! The pipe leaked causing mold to grow on the studs and drywall. Tolman Construction said it was the plumbers fault . It is not the plumbers fault that Tolman Construction missed the bottom plate and hit a pipe. Don't use these guys . They are very incompetent and rude .
