I have 2 story house with two units. My maintenance company showed growth built up on the coils and suggested cleaning, UV lights, electronic air purifier etc and gave a big estimate. I wanted to get some more quotes. I came across Spencer for hire as I was driving to my sons school. It is a local, family owned HVAC company that is in business for around 12 years. Spencer, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable and gave me good options with reasonable prizing. The team was quick to get to the home and finished the job on the same day. The technician Alejandro was experienced and performed the job meticulously. He was polite to answer all my queries and provided me insights into common issues and their solutions to avoid such problem in future. The assistant Victor was humble and did his part to his best ability. Now I got the maintenance contract with them and would recommend them to my friends.

There was a bad storm a couple of weeks ago and my air conditioner went out. Spenser I was able to call and he and his son was at my house within an hour. They checked my system out for me thoroughly and they said it was JEA. had to repair the wires on the outside before my air conditioner could be up and running. So by the next day, JEA had repaired it and he came back by and got everything cut on for me and I really appreciate all that prompt service that I received from him, but I do have Maintenance and I always call Spenser when I have anything going on with my air conditioner. Thank you so much you guys !!!

They are fabulous! Our AC broke at 7pm on a Friday night. The technician was there within an hour and the part was replaced and our AC running by 9pm. They are professional, courteous and knowledgeable. They have been maintaining our unit for over 10 years. Thank you Spencer and Alejandro!!!

These guys are the absolute best. Whether I call on a weekday during business hours or Sunday night at 9PM, they always show up as soon as possible - usually same day within a couple of hours. Spencer Heating and Air are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and HONEST! The service calls, labor, and materials are fairly priced (cheaper than any other quotes I've ever received from other companies) and all staff members are experts and just good guys. I refer anyone and everyone to Spencer - Go with Spencer!

AC went out on a Thursday afternoon at Angies. Called Spencer. His crew was there inside of 45 minutes, no kidding. They were sending me pics of the issues within an hour of my call. It was a 12 year old unit. After much evaluation I decided to replace the entire unit. Within 24 hours of my call a new unit was humming away cooling off my customers. We couldn't keep the a/c running, we were melting, we tried to eliminate several simple possibilities, like turning it off, changing the battery in the thermostat & then reseting the power & checking the filter with no improvement. We called Spencer for Hire (they serviced our previous a/c & installed our current unit about 4 yrs ago) because we trust them. They answered on the 2nd ring & fit us in on the same day. The 2 man crew arrived early, with professional appearance, wonderful energetic personalities. They started with their check list & about 15-20mins they explained that the condensation drain was not draining. We didn't know about the overflow reservoir cut off float cap or that we should have been pouring a mixture of 1:1 of white vinegar & water about once a month. (Our drain was very unhealthy to say the least) They corrected the blocked drain with a can of compressed air & a shop-vac. (It was very disgusting) They were in & out in less than 2 hrs. The a/c was back to normal working status! Very reasonable price! Thank you guys so very much!
