He rebuilt two gates from scratch, it was pure art mixed with handy stuff that is out of my pay grade: not only will I call him for everything in the future, Im sending his number to everyone I know in OC. I had the same experience with Corey who I was told by him that he was the owner of South County handyman. Corey came over to install my closet doors, along with my interior doors. I havent moved into my house as of yet, but I have tried multiple times via text and two phone calls which he has an automatic response to text him for a faster response . LOL... Of course, Corey has been paid in full and ran off with the money and because I trusted him to come back and correct the closet doors I paid him. I now have a set of closet doors which are partly hanging on the floor and barely hanging on the track. Thus far, I have never heard back from him in months and most recently I have been contacting him on a daily basis, To date, I still havent had the courtesy of a return phone call from Corey even after I asked him to please let me know if he can give me a referral if he wasnt going to honor his work. Ill keep you posted to see what the outcome will entail and to see if he will honor his word and work. Extremely disappointed. Corey, below you will find a copy of your text message that I copied and pasted. I sent my original text message to you late August 2025. It is now September 19. I have NEVER heard back from you. To date, You have NEVER come over to take a look like you mentioned via your text message shown below. I paid your full price for your work. Just because you cannot communicate in the beginning that you didnt take credit cards , checks or ATM cards I was stuck. So you accepted my payment which you normally dont take and thats the ONLY reason you gave me the extra , what 3% off. So what infuriates me is that youre not being HONEST nor have ANY INTEGRITY . Man up and be Honest !!!!! Your response back to me from my review is absolutely a bold face LIE.. The new tracks Were removed by my painters, and you installed the new tracks in ALL the bedrooms. You coordinated what tracks you were needing for the doors by Doheny Builders in Capo Beach and spoke to Steve. I went to pick up the tracks that you required to get the job done correctly. I also have proof from Steve because I asked him to put it in writing. All the closet doors work fine except for one bedroom and thats it. So my question to you, is that if all of the closet doors work and all the bedrooms except for one whats the problem? So what additional work Needed to be done because this is the first time I ever heard that from you. If all the doors are working in all the other rooms except for one, how is that possible? My point is that you took the money and ran and you dont have the integrity to correct the closet doors for one bedroom. I find it highly unethical of you to continually Stonewall me, and ghost me when you could have done the right thing, came over as promised and made the corrections or adjustments. You ignored my phone calls and text messages but the only time you response is through Google reviews which I knew I would get a response from you that way. How sad is that When you couldve done the right thing from the very beginning. You also said that you were going to put the gliders on after the new Flooring went in. Again, another broken promise from you. You must be so proud. Yes, I am on a budget and but I agreed and honored your price and to paid you in FULL. . So PLEASE STOP trying to fool the public based on you lying. Btw my name for the 14th time is Jianna NOT Juanna. Hi Juanna, I for your message but I'm leaving to see grandkids tomorrow afternoon and return on the 5th, i can come take a look after that, I'm slammed until i leave.

I reached out to Corey to get some security cameras installed at a property, initially he was very helpful and informative. Even dissuaded me from using him due to expected costs. I appreciated the honesty and chose to move forward with him because of it. He informed me to complete the job he would need to re-take an equipment certification from United Rentals, I was patient and let him know I understood the delays with the July 4th holiday scheduling. Weeks later, he has stopped responding via text and does not answer calls.

We had such a great experience with Corey! He was honest, efficient, and incredibly kind throughout the entire process. He did a phenomenal job installing our Waterdrop reverse osmosis system, and everything works perfectly. One thing I appreciated the most was his honesty, he was not beating around the bush with us and he communicated clearly what needed to be done in order to install our system correctly. Its such a relief to find someone you can trust to do quality work. Well definitely be calling him again for future projects. Highly recommend!

Hi found Corey on a google search for a handyman...and what a find! Corey did a fantastic job~ i had moved in several Months ago and needed pictures/mirrors/TVs/wine racks hung.. Corey got it all done! My list was long.. when he had to leave for a previous appointment, he made a point to let me know he would be back, and on a Friday, he worked into the evening to get the honey-do list done . So appreciative of his professionalism and it looks amazing! Corey has a very kind, professional demeanor and works quickly and efficiently. He left the job really clean. After purchasing a washer from a Big Box store and paying for delivery and install, it instantly went mission critical when the circus team arrived and proclaimed that the drain was not up to their company standards and if installed they would be held liable in a court of law. After leaving in a cloud of heel dust, I came to the realization that the American Nightmare is alive and well in corporate America. Corey had me take numerous crime scene photos and he arrived a few hours later on a rainy Saturday. I also had a gate repair that is extremely difficult. He took minutes to install the drain and took the time to adjust the drain perfectly. If you have a problem he will fix it right and or research it period. Would definitely recommend him 100 percent.
