We hired Platinum Finishes for a full interior paint project. Despite their online reviews, our experience was extremely disappointing. From the beginning there were visible finish issues inconsistent sheen in hallways, poor patching, missed areas around doors, and ceiling joints visible under normal lighting. Several punch list items required repeated follow-up. Platinum even had a Sherwin-Williams representative come out to inspect the work. The rep confirmed the issues were workmanship related, not a paint product problem. Months later, we are now seeing patch failure and peeling paint, especially near the refrigerator area clear signs that surface prep and patching were not done properly. More concerning, during the project their crew dumped paint thinner down our bathroom sink, which damaged the drain. This is unsafe, improper disposal, and resulted in additional repairs we now have to deal with. Rather than taking responsibility, Platinum provided a closeout agreement attempting to reframe legitimate defects as misunderstandings or scope exclusions. Communication became defensive instead of solution-focused (including an inappropriate email bringing religion into the conversation instead of addressing the work). We werent looking for perfection just professional preparation, consistent finish, durable results, and basic respect for our home. Thats not what we received. If youre considering Platinum Finishes, especially for larger or detail-sensitive projects, ask detailed questions about prep standards, patching methods, disposal practices, and warranty coverage before signing.

We had an excellent experience with Platinum Finishes. I had Hadyn over to give me quote on retaping our basement ceilings because the tape had loose edges due to too much flex in the ceiling. He suggested an overlay of the ceilings with 1/2" drywall, reapply knockdown, and finish with paint. This should fix the problem for good. The new ceilings look wonderful. They were timely in completing the project. They took great care to protect the flooring and cabinets. I won't hesitate to use Platinum Finishes in the future.

The crew did a great job. We had a lot of patch work to do because of electrical and plumbing updates, but it all blended seamlessly in. The walls and ceilings look great.

Great team to work with. We had them redrywall and paint a play area. They did great work, left everything super clean and stood behind their work. After reporting a small paint issue they were back out within a week and went above and beyond fixing the issue.

We had Platinum Finishes hang drywall, mud/tape, and paint our basement. The team did an amazing job and we are very happy with the finished product! The quality is wonderful, they finished in a very timely manner, and did a great job cleaning up! Hadyn coordinated everything for us and his customer service and communication was top notch! Very responsive and helpful during the entire process. We will definitely recommend Platinum Finishes to anyone looking for drywall and painting!

We were delighted with the professionalism, efficiency and courtesy of the painters. The work was completed in less time than we expected. The workers protected floors prior to beginning and cleaned up immediately after they completed their work. When an unforeseen issue arose they talked through the options and provide a very fair resolution. We highly recommend Platinum Finishes.

I hired Platinum Finishes to salvage some trim painting that another contractor had done poorly. It was a really difficult job because the other contractor had left dozens of problems to correct. Platinum Finishes did a great job of making the results look much better, and they honored their original estimate, even though the project ran longer than expected. I would hire them again.
