We wanted to add a bathroom in our basement, but I had some different design details I wanted to incorporate like a hidden door for a speakeasy vibe. Jesus took all of my suggestions and produced an amazing bathroom. Its probably my favorite room in our house. Jesus was kind and professional and kept us in the loop on supplies, where our budget stood and timeline. I love our bathroom and will for sure be using Palomino Construction again in the future.

Jesus did INCREDIBLE WORK. I would recommend him to anyone who needs work done on their home. He was extremely flexible with our project and very accomodating to some last minute changes that we decided on. At one point we needed to wait a few weeks for some pieces to come in and he scheduled us right back in when they arrived. He did a kitchen remodel, built a home office out of our garage and some plimbing line work for our laundry room. Truly a jack of all trades. He really left things in phenomenal shape and always checked in with me to make sure things were to our liking. 10/10 contractor, super fair pricing and paid attention to detail.

My experience working with Jesus was extremely negative. He is incredibly unprofessional, lacks any accountability, and is dishonest. After demanding final payment without resolving several issues including passing final inspection he was let go. He then proceeded to threaten me if I gave him a negative review. Screen shot of that exchange provided. The contract that was agreed upon stipulated that all materials and labor were included in the agreed upon number and spelled out a payment plan. This payment plan consisted of 40% upfront, 40% at the midpoint of the project and the remainder upon completion. The contract also stipulated that the work would be permitted. There were 15 inspections conducted by the city of Denver that resulted in failure. 15 out of a total of 26 inspections. Jesus blamed the inspectors for all the failed inspections. He asked for additional funds prior to reaching the agreed upon midpoint of the project after receiving the second payment of 40% he said that all the materials, labor, and permitting expense have now been covered. A month later we still have not hit the midpoint of the project and he is asking for more money for materials that according to him have already been paid for. This went on for four more months eventually I said no to him and he proceeded to throw a temper tantrum. Told me that he was not going to install the carpet and that is going to be my problem. Carpet install was part of the contract. As we approached the end I had hit my threshold of nonsense with this guy and fired him after he demanded final payment after yet another failed inspection that of course he was in no way responsible for. List of unresolved issues: Ethernet wired incorrectly. Paint applied sloppily and in some places can see through the one coat of paint. Leak in wet bar drain. Poorly installed door knob with a stripped bolt holding it in place. No window well covers installed. These were included in the contract.

Jesus and his team are well worth the investment! They took on a meticulous drywall project (old home) and refurbished our archway, which was our main worry with this project. He was able to reshape and bring back the beauty to the eyesore arch. We chose him because he was right within our budget, and so glad we did. We are extremely happy with their work, respect and communication. Will definitely be using him for future projects.

I recently hired Jesus for a complex bathroom renovation project that involved intricate tile work and knocking down a wall in another bathroom. Im extremely pleased with the timely and efficient manner in which the project was completed. The results are exceptional the craftsmanship in the tile work and the structural changes exceeded my expectations. Throughout the entire process, Jesus maintained excellent communication, keeping me informed at every stage of the project. Not only did they deliver quality results, but their pricing was also competitive. I highly recommend Jesus for any remodeling work.

We hired Jesus to do several projects in our new home, including tiling and some other misc. things. Jesus was very responsive and did a pretty good job on most of our projects. He also came up with solutions to our door issue that we'd never thought of and was pretty reasonable with his initial pricing. He also came back out to install our garage door after it finally arrived at Home Depot, weeks after he'd completed the other work (part of the original invoice). That was definitely appreciated. I'd say the only reason we didn't give him 5 stars is because at times, it felt like we had to offer him more money to do things that we felt should've been part of the work promised in the original invoice. We also had to ask multiple times to get the construction trash removal completed, and the tile work had a few minor issues. That being said, we'd probably still hire him again, as he overall did pretty well.

I had a very bad experience with this contractor. After getting multiple quotes for interior painting, I contacted Jesus to let him know that I would be using another painter. As a courtesy I let him know his quote was 3-4 times higher than the others. This seemed to anger him and he followed up with harassing text messages. He is very unprofessional. BEWARE!
