I strongly advise against hiring MVP Home Services. We paid a $1,600 deposit for a project, but Mario took the money and completely disappeared without ever starting the work. After our calls and messages were continuously ignored, my husband and I were forced to take the matter to small claims court. We won a legal judgment against him, but he has ignored the court order and still refuses to refund our $1,600. Save yourself the stress and financial losslook for a reliable contractor elsewhere.

DO NOT USE THIS PERSON! Made multiple appointments with him and all of them but 1 were no-shows. Had me waiting multiple days and times for him never to show up. Took days off of work to be ghosted. No communication whatsoever. Called from a different number and he answered and hung up when he realized it was me calling. He did 1 job for me, which was the first job we ever scheduled, and it came out TERRIBLE!

Edit: December 29th, 2023. They disappeared and are unreachable. Roof still looks great, but a follow up job to replace a post at our roof was requested, we received a price and were told the part was ordered from Home Depot and Mario said he'd be back next week. This was just before Thanksgiving. I called, left voicemails, texts, and email messages to see why communication just abruptly ended. I never heard from him again. NO ONE RESPONDED AT ALL! Just gone! November 2023 We had our roof replaced last week. Two layers had to be completely removed. We also had gutter guards put on our gutters. It's an awful process to have to go through estimates and hope you made the right decision; pricing and research and some intuition goes a long way, but you're never really sure you've picked the right company. I'm very happy to say that we did. Mario is an excellent communicator, and keeps his word. If you've had work done in the past few years, you know that's rare. He answered our questions during the work, and afterward. His crew was extremely hard working, and I find it hard to believe how clean my yard is now that it's complete. They covered all landscaping and came through afterward with a magnet to pick up all the nails. I saw one of the workers pulling leaves out behind a small statue on a small corner on my deck to check if there was any debris there from the old roof. The price was fair and very reasonable, and the roof looks kind of amazing to me. I knew it would look better, but I didn't realize how complete the new blue roof would make the house look, and the gutter guards are practical and they also look nice. Mario is coming back again this week to replace a pole over the garage, and after seeing how he does things, I have more I'd like to ask him to do. Mario, you can use me as a reference anytime. Thank you for being extremely professional and excellent at your job from the very detailed estimate to going over the roof the next day to make sure nothing was missed. Pete and I were very impressed. EDIT!: Mario gave us an estimate to replace a pole at the front of my house, we agreed to it, he ordered the part from Home Depot and said he'd be here the following week to do the job. I called, left voicemails, texted and emailed him so many times, because he fell off the face of the earth. They did a great job on the roof, but wow was it an eye opener to find that they would disappear. Very very disappointing.

Where to begin? Mario's name needs to be Super Mario. He is simply THE BEST. Most amazing handyman I have ever used. We recently moved into a brand new complex. As with every move, there are certain things that need to be taken care of that are better left to professionals. Because of the pristine and new condition of our home, I was unwilling to hammer holes in the wall, hang TV's etc. These might seem like simple tasks but we did not want to damage anything by attempting to do this ourselves. I researched handymen in our area and after several phone calls and attempts, I found MVP Home Services. Mario, the owner, was the only one to call me right back. He was polite, accommodating and friendly. We hired him. His turn around time to get to us was at our convenience and he was at our new home in less than 48 hours. We had a bunch of things that needed to be done, including hanging a 100+ lb. circular mirror. Mario confirmed the day of, via text and arrived promptly at the selected time. It quickly became apparent that Mario's 20 plus years of experience with a well-known large construction firm paid off. We were BLOWN away. He was incredible and did everything to absolute perfection. Measuring and balancing every time he hung something. He was careful and knew EXACTLY what he was doing. He came with the proper tools and equipment and everything he touched came out impeccable. He is so personable, likeable, well-mannered and clean-cut. Time was not an issue, as he gave us a one-time fee and did not bill us hourly. He was patient. I have to mention his level of strength. This guy literally carried down, on his shoulder, down two flights of wooden stairs, an extremely heavy, mid-century modern teak wood coffee table. It took two moving men to just carry it off the truck. We absolutely love this guy and give him our highest recommendation. He will be coming back in a week or so for some more projects and will have him on call for the future. CALL HIM for all your home needs. He is THE best.

Very pleased with the project I recently had completed my MVP. Reliable, reasonably priced, took pride in their craft. Cleaned up as they went along. Was able to overcome a couple of obstacles with flooring with good solutions. Removed tile flooring without any residual debris. Would definitely use again!
