We gave MRB ample opportunity to correct problems we have with the doors he installed, as well as some baseboard issues and mudding around outlets. We waited very patiently for him to be available - we were scheduled and then rescheduled several times afterwards. He did come work on the doors and was not able to fix any of them properly ( we have 2 pocket doors that are pretty much not functioning, as well as several crooked doors that were not sanded and painted very well ) We also have outlets that weren't sanded well either after they were mudded and baseboards that don't look like they were professionally installed. After months of waiting, we asked for a partial refund - seeing as having him come to do the corrections on the house wasn't working- and that was the last we heard from him.

Unfortunately I do not have a positive review for MRB Drywall & Painting. It is unbelievable to me that a contactor is willing to risk his reputation and that of his business because of his unwillingness to finish services he was hired to do. On October 1st 2025 MRB was hired to repaint my aluminum lanai, 2 painters and Mike showed up around 9:00 with Mike leaving several times and coming back hours later. Around 1:00 his guys started painting the lanai but ran out of paint around 4:30. Mike returned shortly thereafter and ran to Sherman Williams for another gallon of paint. His guys finished painting around dusk where I did inspect his work to which seemed satisfactory. The next morning however I noticed in the sunlight several aluminum trusses were not fully covered with paint along with all 4 corner support brackets that were overlooked to be painted. I called Mike and coordinated a day and time for him to come back and complete. That went on for 2 plus months, coordinating 6 more times with no-shows. The last text to coordinate was on November 14 where Mike was scheduled to comby the following Friday, again Mike did not show. My neighbor noticed my freshly painted lanai and asked what company I used because he was thinking about having his repainted. I told him I'd rather not say because of the ongoing issues. He asked what type of problem I was having which I explained. Since I was unable to do because of medical concerns my neighbor offered to paint the unfinished area's which I agreed given the ongoing 2 month's MRB unresponsiveness. He spent 3 hours prepping and painting, I gave him $75 for his time. The following week Mike showed up at my front door but noone was home given he was scheduled 2 weeks prior. Anyway that day I was at a doctor's appointment and texted him after listening to his voicemail. I told him I had my neighbor handled given he had blown me off for 2 months plus. After discussing with him he agreed to reimburse me the $75 but wasn't in town and would drop by when he returned. I waited patiently 3 more weeks and of course no-show. I texted him once again and said to have a check mailed which he agreed. However you guessed it, 6 weeks later and nothing. Mike was given more than ample opportunities to resolve and I believe I have been more than fair. If you run a business perform the contracted services. You still have an opportunity to make this right!

EDIT: In response to your reply, I do not have the incorrect company. You are MRB Drywall and Painting Solutions based out of Port Richey in Pasco county. The owner's name is Michael Balletta. This is the exact way I found your company and your website in the first place, and I stand by my review. Such an incredibly disappointing experience with MRB. Found him to be unorganized, unreliable and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend MRB for anything based on my experience with him. He may be fine with smaller projects, based on the reviews I see, but he isn't ready to take on the storm damaged properties that he says he can do which, in fact, require more than some drywall and painting.

Having lived in Florida for 25 years, I have rarely been impressed with a service company. Usually, they show up, do the minimal job and take the money. MRB went above and beyond and I am super happy with their work. I had them replace my popcorn ceiling with a knock down texture. They didn't just come in and replace it, they made sure the areas that needed additional attention, even areas that could be covered up with the knock down texture, were properly fixed. Some of these areas weren't even known when I was given the estimate (which, was the best estimate I received from three different companies) and I was not charged more after the discovery. They weren't major issues, but I could easily have expected a, "Well, there needs to be extra charges because of..." Nope, they took care of it, no extra charge. They also made sure that anything that happened, through no fault of their own, was repaired so that everything looked perfect. Example, some paint came off a bathroom wall when they were taping up the plastic barrier because when the wall was painted it was not prepared correctly. They asked if I had leftover paint, which I did, and they repainted it. Again, I could have easily expected a, "Not our responsibility," comment. I could not have been more pleased with the quality of the work. Lastly, their clean-up was extremely thorough. You would never guess that a huge mess was ever made. Not just inside the house but outside where their equipment and walking had left debris and mess. Washed it all down. Thank you MRB. Job well done.

I had reservations posting this view because I really liked the owner Mike outside of him working for me. I hired MRB to install drywall, mud, texture and paint what they installed 4ft up from the floor. This was done bc my home was hit by flood waters from Hurricane Helene. I was out of town and trusted MRB to do a great job as promised.I had to pull my own permit bc they werent able to obtain one. I was sent videos of progress and work when completed. When I got home it was late in the evening light wasnt good and at first glance things looked ok. MRB wanted to get paid and my bad for not waiting until the morning to see the poor job that was done. When I mentioned all the areas that needed to be fixed Mike told me to create a punch list and he would take care of it. The next day he showed up with his employee and I handed him the punch list and he rolled his eyes, huffed briefly looked at the 11 pages and put it down. I went through all the areas marked with blue tape and he made excuses and then said he would come back. He came back 3 times was supposed to come on other days no show no call unless I called him. The days he did show it was late in the day after he was on another job. The issues did not get fixed correctly. Issues: Outlets cut outs to big in new drywall, covers didnt fit and drywall was exposed. Texture not uniformed or not done on new sheet rock. Holes cut in for old wires that are obsolete. Someone should have called me to asked if they are still in use before cutting them into drywall. (Mike came back did a patch job on them which is very noticeable). Drywall & Mud around A/C vent to high and no texture. Vent cover not fitting even after he came back. Said it was the metal box was twisted. I had RJ Keilty heating & cooling come out they said it was the drywall not the box. That cost me $89.99 for a service call to tell me it was MRB workmanship. I had blue tape on everything that needed to be fixed and after Mike coming back 3 times not working full days without any help, it still was not fixed correctly. I paid $6,800.00 for drywall mess and $1.000.00 to paint the drywall that was totally painted the wrong color used on bathroom walls and walls throughout house. There was texture over spray around the bottom of floors that we are still scraping up and texture was sprayed in areas of side of kitchen cabinet that after Mike cleaned it somewhat still has texture on it. As for the paint he tried to say it was shadowing cause they only painted half the walls. I hired a new company to fix and they confirmed the sheen was wrong and they should have used my Valspar paint from Lowes to match and not use Sherman Williams. Theres bowing in the drywall in some areas which at this point im done paying twice for the mess ups. Theres mud all over the marble sills of windows and gaps of mud that wasnt sanded under the window sills which another company is fixing all the stuff that should have been done correctly the first time. Theres unsanded mud around sliding doors and no paint no texture on these areas. At the least, I should be reimbursed for some of these things that are being corrected. Although Mike after three times coming back said let me know if you need anything eles and at this point I needed to save this sinking ship and wasted enough time waiting on him to come back and still not fixing it right when he did. The new company I hired cant believe I actually paid for that work.
