Called them to put up some address numbers and when I found out they couldnt, I just had them touch up some caulking. The worker failed to mention the caulking wouldnt match and the finished product was all over the windows and unevenly applied. I would grade the whole experience an F and have already reached out for a refund since I had taken off all the caulking as soon as they left.

Jerry from Mr. Handyman helped me with a small job today, going high up on an extension ladder for me as I am too old to do so. He was geat... on time, courteous, competent. I would use Mr. Handyman again in a heartbeat!

Ive used Mr. Handyman Lake Oswego for many years because they can come in for one visit and fix many things. Marcus solved a problem with our dryer vent and cleaned our fireplace and its amazing.

Everyone has been pleasant and professional. Presented me with options that were less invasive, faster and less expensive than 3 other companies, ( replacing patio door glass and not the entire door). Jerry went above and beyond to fix a tricky custom door problem, and made it look better and more functional than I expected was possible. He was recommended as Mr. Handyman's best "door guy" and he did an amazing job! Highly recommended for more than just doors.

Jerri from Mr Handyman was awesome! He arrived on time... Completed the job in a timely manner and we were very satisfied with the quality of work that he did. Jerrie repaired some laminate floor that had become damaged and was not installed properly to begin with. We are Very, very happy with this company and will definitely request Jerrie again in the future. Thank you so much for sending him! And Shirley in the office was great too! If I could give this company zero stars I would. I had a guy come out to put together a filing cabinet and flip a bar on a desk I dissembled wrong. The desk was fully put together upon arrival. He got here after 8am and left around 10am. From the start he got in my door he smelt of foul odor. I had to ask him to take off his shoes. Which I regret because thats what stunk up my ENTIRE HOUSE! (Maybe leave your shoes outside or have the audacity to put on shoes covers like contractors/any one with common manners/decency do). He did not introduce himself, he did not give me a quote until I asked. He asked me to sign documents he didnt care to elaborate on until I asked. He continued to stink up my room I had him work in and the rest of the house. His phone went off multiple times with a very provocative ringtone. When I asked about the quote he didnt hesitate on price which he was at my residence for less than two hours. Eventually I had to intervene, make up an excuse and say you need to leave because he stunk so bad. 350$ is absolutely criminal to charge some one for that experience and amount of time he was here. How dare you send people out with that low of professionalism!!! Absolutely disgusted with this company. My house still smells of rotten odor and feet!!! He put together the filing cabinet to a point but left out some dividers because I kicked him out after putting up with his odor and phone going off.

In My initial phone call jay said he felt the work could be done in the 3 hour minimum time, so I was a little surprised to have it go so far over and pay over $200 more than I expected. He did do a good job however.

We are in the process of having our kitchen cabinets resurfaced and needed the new microwave installed. Andres came out and was able to install the new microwave, then remove it while the cabinets are finished up. The guy who is here working on cabinets was unable to "install" the new microwave. However, he is able to "put it back", after it's installed. I guess it makes sense. But Andres couldn't have been any nicer or helpful in our situation. I will keep this # in my phone, as there are a few other things that still need to be accomplished. 5 Would Recommend & will absolutely be calling again for more working the future! Thank you!!

Hired Mr.Handyman to install an attic ladder, which turned out to be less than satisfactory. Partly my fault, because I didn't research or read reviews before hiring. Mr.H had assessed the job and ordered the ladder, but when the installer arrived with the ladder, the office had ordered the wrong size, so it had to go back & be re-ordered. More waiting, so at this time I took the opportunity to read reviews. People complained, Mr.Handyman NOT giving a reliable bid BEFORE a contract had to be signed!!!. The installer was knowledgeable, nice, polite and tried to be truthful (the bid problem was NOT his fault, but Mr.H'andyman's practices)....Accidentally, a separate page on the worker's iPad appeared, which was to be only visible to him, it showed a final (higher) cost, rather than the one I was quoted, before the job had even started...After calling the office person, who determines the final cost, about what I just saw, I got a lengthy nonsensical explanation of Mr.Handyman's business practices. He also said he "made a mistake"...and then I was "offered" a still only semi-firm price. After a non satisfactory email exchange I informed the office person, that I was uncomfortable with the still NOT firm "bid", canceled the job and hired a different company.... Sign me:....Disappointed potential customer! PS: having been involved with the construction of 2 homes, the rule with bids used to be price, plus 10%, for unforeseen problems. That gives a person at least something more firm to go by. Maybe rules have changed.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. We hired them 8-9 months ago to do some odd jobs. The last was to replace a large shattered window. We pre-paid them $700 in CASH for the it, which was apparently STUPID of us, to have any faith in human nature. We called & called for several more months, and there was always some excuse (if they even bothered to call us back) why the job was delayed. They finally showed up and installed it, about 3 months ago. But then today I got an email about a late invoice for demo of the old frame, materials (what? Some wood for a new frame?) And installation of the window, for well over $1000!!!

Buyer beware they did no repairs whatsoever and told me one thing was too old to repair(just took a look from the outside) and then told me my dishwasher was broken. Thats why I called them to fix those things but no. So buyer beware

Jay was super pleasant, knowledgeable about the project and well prepared. My pocket door was fixed in no time and arrangements to return and install an outlet negated my having to hire an expensive electrician. The staff at Mr. Handyman were also very pleasant. They go all out to keep you posted on where everything is in the stream of time. I like how they give you a picture of your handyman so you know it's him.

You gotta be kidding me! $700 to replace 4 cabinet door hinges. Communication was poor at best and the original estimate was clearly to get us to bite. Will absolutely never call these people again!
