We were very satisfied with Mr. Mixon's work on our home. We had water damage on the ceiling in one of our bedrooms and they were very meticulous in their work. It looks better than new. Will and Maine were very polite and worked very hard to finish the work in timely manner. The best recomendation I can give is that I will be calling them again when it's time for our next project.

More like 2.5 stars. A job I was under the impression would only take a few days turned into nearly two weeks to replace the floor of my bathroom and utility room. They insisted on covering new electrical outlets beneath the new floor, and complained when asked to bring them back up and put the bath tub back in place (no electrical or plumbing work, just moving the outlets back into place through one panel of the floor, and placing the tub). However, the owner did relent and agree to do so. Finally, when the job was done, (1) the previously-cut hole for my dryer exhaust was covered with their floor mold, with no regard; and (2) my back door would no longer close, now catching on the ceiling surface above it. The owner insisted that the job had nothing to do with it, saying that the wall and floor were basically unrelated, and offered no solutions to remedy it, only a screw in the door for the panels separating. I have to sand the wood above the door for it to close again. And even after the job, they left a butt-load of old material for me to throw away. TL;DR they're very good at cutting wood, and it's a good floor, but professionalism leaves a few things to be desired.

We initially hired them to install subfloor on part of our house because we were getting LVP floors installed by Lowes. George and his crew were very accommodating and super nice so we hired him to replace the ceiling, crown molding, baseboards and to smooth out walls in the first floor. They initially gave us a 5 day project completion timeframe that took almost 2 weeks into the Thanksgiving holiday, which we had to miss because we could not use our kitchen due to all the mess from the project. The 5th day came and George informed us that the project wouldnt be completed until the following Tuesday (week of thanksgiving) Initially, the job did not include painting but George offered to do it with an added fee. We asked if it would delay past the new deadline and he said it shouldnt. The pictures below are from thanksgiving morning and they show what a shitty job they did. They did not clean the area before painting and painted over the piles of compound dust on doors and windowsills. They did not sand smoothed the crown molding, baseboards, ceilings and walls then proceeded to paint over them. They had paint all over our new floors and even damaged one with their box cutter I had to be on them about all the imperfections throughout and his response was always it will all look perfect when were finished but as you can clearly see it looks terrible and I hate being in that area of the house. Now we have to find someone else to fix all of Mixson & Mixsons crappy work. They are nice guys but that doesnt justify piss poor work. We DO NOT RECOMMEND at all.
