We reached out to get an appointment with them for an estimate on some drywall work. They stated they would charge a $99 fee for an estimate with $50 credited towards service if we went with them. We scheduled the appointment with them. I stayed home from work to meet them for the appointment between 10-1. They didn't show. After contacting them, they said they were running late. They didn't show by close to 4. I contacted their number, which is a third party company who just forwards messages to them. I was informed they were going to get in touch with me. After not hearing anything by 4:50, I contacted them back again through the third party company and was told told the estimator had an emergency service call at another location (totally understandable) and they were trying but couldn't get anyone else out and someone would come the following day. I attempted to convey to the third-party company they retained that they should have contacted me and not had me contact them multiple times to learn this. I requested a call from the company rep both times I called in. I never received a call. Stayed home from work again to meet them as I was told they were going to come. I called their line around 10 am to ask about the ETA. The third party company took my information and said they'd request someone get back to me. Never heard from anyone and no one ever showed up. I generally appreciate a company having a charge for an estimate as it takes time away from paying jobs. However, it is unprofessional and hypocritical to schedule an appointment, then no show, no contact, then have a third party be the point of contact and agree they will come the next day and no show no contact. They should reimburse me for my time waiting for their repeated no shows and on the wasted time on the phone with their gatekeepers who are nothing but lip service.
