Sorry to report that I called the company and they said that for them to even come out to look at the project its a minimum of $350. The quote starts at $350 regardless of the work. I found that to be a little inconsiderate because they don't even know what the work looks like . I have never experience this kind of service before. If the work costs that or more I would gladly pay it. I was thrown off by their unwillingness to come out and provide the estimate. It was an over the phone minimum quote of $350.00 to come out.

A review for Dan with Klappenberger & Son Company. I contacted them after getting their name as a referral from a real estate agent. My aunt had taken ill and I brought her from Maryland back to Massachusetts and in the process of selling her home I needed to have some repairs done immediately. I spoke with And had him go to the house get me an estimate and then complete the work. All while being handled from Massachusetts. I was a bit nervous as I was so far away, but I cant say enough positive things about him and the work he did. His work was perfect. He did a bunch of repairs for me to get the house ready to be sold. I do not have one complaint only praise for all that he did. Faucets, toilets, electrical work, and a few other things as well. I am absolutely thrilled with the work that was completed. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, Dan was incredibly professional, detail oriented, punctual, and communicative. The quality of his work is outstanding, and he went above and beyond to ensure everything was taking care of and done right. The pricing was very reasonable as well. We hired Klappenberger & Son to patch holes and "spot" paint wall scuffs/holes. When we inspected the work, we immediately noticed none of the scuffs were covered, patching was rough, and paint was on all over outlet covers. The "matched" paint color was not even close to the color on the walls, it looked as if they used the baseboard paint for everything. Even after a second visit to do the job we requested, the work performed was not worth even half the amount we ended up paying (scuffs remained unpainted, mess left, overpaint on outlets). Additionally, the total time spend was a few hours less than what we were quoted. Highly recommend someone else.

I hired this company to remove wallpaper in our kitchen. They did remove the wallpaper, HOWEVER, the worker was late both days with no call. He left remnants of wallpaper and glue all over the wall, along with small-medium sized nicks in the wall that I had to spackle. After being done, remnants of wallpaper were shoved behind the fridge and the tops of our white kitchen cabinets were filthy. They have no respect for your time or property. After all of that, they charged OVER DOUBLE what they estimated it would cost. With the price of this, I was really hoping my walls would be paint ready and I would not have to do any extra work, which was entirely not the case. If youre looking for a professional business for your house needs, do not hire this company.

The project manager drop the scheduled work and left after having left us with the flooring that was delivered 4 weeks waiting for them on our drive-way waiting for them to begin the job!
