My experience with Mr. Benfield was very unfortunate. I'm a licensed general contractor and have worked with many subcontractors in the area. Johnny had agreed to undertake a fair sized drywall project for me. We agreed on pricing, materials, etc. The week before he was scheduled to start, we began finalizing small details such as the finish date and a formal contract. Johnny stated he disagreed with some details of the contract on the night before he was scheduled to start. Despite my best efforts to be flexible and meet his needs, he simply ghosted me. He did not call or text, he simply did not show up. I was then left with unused drywall materials in the building, with no one to install them. Bottom line, Mr. Benfield struggled with proper communication and partnership. I was willing to meet his needs, if only he would've communicated them. He told me he was a man of his word but did not reflect this in action.
