JA Fernandez Painting is the absolute best cabinet finisher / whole-home paint company imaginable. We received their information from a master carpenter who is also a close friend, and we are forever grateful. So far weve worked with JA Fernandez on several projects. First, approximately 2 years ago to lacquer walk-in closet systems. And more recently, we just completed a large kitchen project with them that involved converting overlay cabinets to inset cabinets, with new doors, drawer boxes, and drawer faces. JA Fernandez lacquered the existing cabinet frames, which included an incredible amount of prep work to tone down the existing wood graining. They sprayed the doors and drawer fronts in their shop off-site. The results are truly special. With the master-carpenter, the team managed to create an extremely custom result, at the highest level of finish and precision possible. This is not painting. Its really cabinet finishing, which is a very involved process. They use the best-performing lacquers and equipment and bring decades of experience. We also worked with JA Fernandez on additional projects, including removing two massive MDF built-in cabinets (these were trucked out on a JA Fernandez trailer), spraying all trim (baseboards, moldings, windows, etc.), repairing and painting walls and ceilings in multiple spaces. Other than the fact that they produce the best work, with top materials and equipment, JA Fernandez has incredible people. It is a family business. So far, weve been fortunate to work with Antonio Sr., Antonio Jr., Byron, and Juan. These guys are amazing. They are extremely talented, kind, and professional. We feel lucky to call them friends. Given the quality of the work, JA Fernandez has very reasonable pricing. By working with them, you can get the job done correctly the first time around, and have results that speak volumes. They work very efficiently, including preparation and clean-up. In addition to painting, they do drywall work, tile work, and other construction projects. They work in both new construction, and in existing spaces. If you need any of these services, make these the first people you call!
