I called this company up to get some work done at our house. The person who I spoke to said someone would call within 20 minutes. No phone call that day. I called again and was basically told someone would all me shortly. No call. I gave up. I did give a rating of 2 stars because of people on the phone were nice. Not effective, but nice.

I hired a handyman through crown services. He called me on February 13th, 2021 and came to my house on 2-14-2021. I signed a contract on the 14th for the following services: replace ceiling tile in basement(there were about 30 pieces of tile), close holes in ceiling to stop mice from entering my home, patch hole under kitchen sink, and hang picture in my daughter's room. He said that he needed a cement drill to put holes in wall to hang the picture. Then, the total price for this job was $1200. I paid a 65% deposit of $780. This was the last day that this man was reliable! He said that he would start the job on the 15th at 8:30am. Then, at 10:30am, he texted me and said that he wasn't coming because he had to drive to home depot to get the tile and that it was too late to start the job. The following day he said that he was coming but didn't come. Then, he came on Wednesday, dropped off one of his helpers (the helper only spoke spanish). The helper had no supplies. Bottom line, I had to make multiple calls to the office to complain about this guy standing me up!! Finally, on Sunday the 21st, one week after he took my deposit, he finally showed up! He was supposed to come between 11am-1pm. I called the office at 1:30 because I had not heard from him. He finally shows up at 1:45pm and then, has to go back out to Home Depot to pick up tile! He didn't get back until 3pm to start the job. I had to tell him to clear the debris and put it outside. He was asking about final payment before he had completed the work! By the way, he did not fix hole under the sink and he did not use a drill in my daughter's room. I gave him the final payment because at least my ceiling tile was finally installed! At this point, I just wanted him out of my house because I was tormented by his unprofessionalism. I will never use this company again!!!! Beware of this guy: Hen Vankin. A complete train wreck!!! Don't let him do anything in your house!!! Hang up, if he calls you. I sincerely considered going on Judge Mathis to sue for damages and emotional distress!

Called and scheduled an appt this morning. Was told technician would be here between 3p-5p, and would call 30 minutes beforehand. No call, no show. Called the office and all that was offered was Ill ask my technician to call you. If you dont want my business just tell me, dont keep me waiting around. 2nd contractor this has happened with

Holmes Handyman Services came to our house to do some general handyman missions, as replacing some light bulbs, hanging a lamp in the living room and fixing some issues that have accumulated with time. They did a fine job making sure nothing is left undone. We were very impressed by their dedication. They really are dedicated to their job.

There is not one bad word to say about the work Holmes Handyman Services performed at our house this week. They came on time, worked with maximum efficiency and professionalism. Did not add unnecessary jobs to inflate the price, the opposite is true. In a few cases, they even saved money for us when solving problems in an original and efficient manner. Only praise for this friendly and reliable company. Well done.
