We are new homeowners, and our first big maintenance project was to repair dry rot damage to our siding and eaves. Enrique and Diego were incredibly thoughtful and thorough during the process. Enrique did multiple walk-throughs with us to explain their progress and make sure nothing was missed, and Diego made sure all the final details and touch-ups were done. The team suggested some fixes that would help prevent future water damage and kept us within our budget. The house looks great, and it was a pleasure working with Herreras!

After firing my first painter for being sloppy (me cleaning up dropped paint for 6 hours),and the second one gaslighting me his availability, I was out of referrals(thank god) and a little panicked. Thats when I saw a yard sign for Herrera's Painting close to a friends house. I thought, how much worse could this get? I closed my eyes and contacted them to bid on painting the entire interior of my house at the end of a 7.5 month renovation. What luck. Enrique, Karla, David and the crew are great finds. They were comparable in price, came with references(which was good since all I had was the yard sign), and very thoughtful, kind, professional, and communicative. I am over the moon with their work and the way they run their business. My house looks beautiful. They tended to the house and me with a lot of care and it shows. I will hire them to do the exterior when that time comes. I no longer need to go looking for a good painter. I found a great one.

We recently hired Herrera's Bay Area Painting to paint the exterior of our 102 year old home, as well as paint the kitchen cabinets and other interior areas. It was a great decision to hire Enrique and his crew. They did an amazing job, inside and out. They were very careful and thorough in the preparation of the areas to be painted, were considerate of our time, especially around the holidays, and very professional. With the rainy season here, the crew worked tirelessly on Saturdays and Sundays to try to beat the rain to get the job done. Communication with Enrique was good, including sharing pictures of the project when we were not at the house so we could see the progress. David was wonderful at managing the project and getting things done efficiently, and doing the last finishing touches. There was a small mishap near the completion of the project and although Enrique himself wasn't the cause, he took full responsibility for it and made us whole. Although it took a little longer than we anticipated, it was worth the wait for the beautiful result. I wholeheartedly recommend Enrique and Herrera's Painting!

The Herrera's team painted one of our rooms recently and did a great job! They were professional and communicative from beginning to end. Our painter was Arturo, and one of the days Gabriel helped as well. The painters were careful to keep everything clean, always arrived as scheduled, and the finished project looks really nice. The management team stopped by each day and addressed any of our comments.

Clearly prior reviews "paint" a pretty picture of the work done by Herrera's Bay Area Painting, Inc. and I must say that I've borne witness to the pretty picture of a beautifully painted home myself. Their work ethic and attention to detail cannot be overstated. While the cost for exterior paint jobs has skyrocketed of late, Enrique does price fairly, and yes, you get your money's worth. I had a few stucco repairs I needed on my early 1920's bungalow, and you need to pull out a magnifying glass to see any evidence of the stucco repairs. Well done to the team, including Enrique, Karla, Dave, Jobani, Arturo & Gabriel. I couldn't be happier. If you're thinking about painting your home, look no further. These guys are the real deal!

Enrique and his team did an amazing job with extensive repairs and repainting of window frames, screens for those windows, several entire rooms, and trim, and balusters for our stairway. I cannot express enough gratitude for the wonderful job that he and his team did. During the weeks that they were working at our house, we discovered other places that were either damaged or stained and he was very flexible in adding more work to the list of the many things he and his team were already doing for us. It was an absolute delight to work with Herreras Bay Area Painting. They painted the exterior of our house. Flawless and with great attention to details. From the early meeting, to finalizing the contract and all throughout the project, Enrique and Karla were extremely professional and kind. Now for the actual painting job, David led a happy crew of painters, who showed up on time every day and worked long hours to finish the project on time. Their prep work was just amazing. The paint looked great and they even did touch-ups on areas that were beyond the scope of their work. I also appreciate how they followed all of our HOA rules. The final walk through was a happy one. David, Enrique's brother, and his team came and prepped for several days, including pressure washing the whole house, filling in cracks and just making sure the house was ready to be painted. I cant recommend Herreras Bay Area Painting Service Inc. enough! From the very beginning, Enrique and the team were incredibly responsive and patient with all our questions. They really listened to our concerns about the existing condition of our home and what I (assumed) could/couldn't be fixed and done, he explained the process clearly, and gave great recommendations along the way. The crew worked SO hard, including long days and some weekends, and put so much care into the job and dedicated to doing it RIGHT. My house was built in 1924, and somehow they made it look brand new again which was beyond my expectations. They sanded everything down, checked the health of the wood, and even let us know where replacements were needed. They were also super thoughtful and worked with us on our color preferences and really made sure everything came out perfect. What impressed me most is how detail-oriented they are. Every step (from grinding and priming to caulking and painting) was done with so much pride, precision and mastery. They care and take pride in their work, and it absolutely shows in the end result. It is not a surprise why so many of our neighbors have worked with them. These young men are incredibly hardworking, respectful, and professional. PERIOD. They went above and beyond, and we feel grateful to have made the call to work with them. We 10000% recommend them to anyone, and we will definitely be calling them again for future work.

I saw the Hererra sign in the neighborhood and the exterior of their home looked amazing - so I reached out and quickly got an appt for them to come estimate painting my kitchen. For the amount of work the crew did and the level of quality - I highly recommend, totally worth it. They completely taped off the area of the house to be painted, patched all old hardware holes for me so that I could put in new hardware, they ensured the bright green paint color I chose went on smoothly, did more coats than usual because the paint behaved oddly, and even came back to fix up a few spots that needed another coat. They are very busy so if you're interested book early and expect a wait to have your project completed. When an unexpected hiccup in crew happened the team worked over the weekend to ensure we stayed on the expected timeline. I am super happy with the result and if I need my exterior painted I'll be reaching out to them again!

He also replaced a significant amount of wood that had rotted or weathered over time. That can be a nerve-wracking process, but he handled it with real care and attention to detail, making sure everything was repaired properly before painting.
