We hired Hero Painting Services last year to paint the interior of our new home before moving in. They did all of the ceilings, walls, trim, and doors which is no small feat so we did not rush them at all because we wanted it done well and our living situation was flexible. Gabriel's painting crew was personable and timely. However, as we have lived in the house for a year now we have noticed that they were not very detail-oriented considering how much money we spent - lots of missed spots that seem far too big to overlook, no paint behind the toilet, stray and spotty paint where the walls meet the ceilings/doors/trim instead of clean lines, and a big patch of paint spilled on our carpeted stairs. We don't use the upstairs of our home because it is an unfinished media room. So it wasn't until recently that we noticed the paint on the carpet - they obviously tried to clean it instead of telling us. If they had been forthright that would have been professional and honest instead of hiding it for us to discover once they left. Many of our blinds were left disheveled or broken as well from the painters maneuvering to get paint around the windows. The painters tried to tape the broken blinds back together so we wouldn't notice but it didn't hold for long. Finally, they did not put enough layers of paint over the squares of test paint we had put on a few walls to decide on a color, you can still see the other paint colors underneath. They should be able to handle this situation as many people do test patches on their walls before deciding on a color.
