Jared provided excellent recommendations for colors to update the look of the interior of the house. He fixed previously botched drywall patches so they are no longer visible. We hired Jared, the owner of Gateway Painting, to initially paint a few bedrooms in our new home. Once we saw the dedication and quality of work, we quickly hired him and got on his calendar for him to do many of the larger rooms on our second and third floors. He even removed the wallpaper which had been up since 1984. Afterward, he skim coated the walls, and painted every room in meticulous detail. He is very clean, very neat, and very professional. Even after a bad color choice on our part, Jared was more than willing to get out his GIANT ladder, climb it, and redo it in a new color . Did I mention that this was in our three story foyer with a winding staircase and vaulted ceilings? I dont know many painters that would have done that without griping about it. When I asked if he could do stripes in our dining room, he didnt even hesitate. he spent one and a half whole days measuring out each stripe for accuracy. We would highly recommend Jared to anyone who is wanting a painter that they can trust, that uses high-quality materials, and that cleans up after himself. We cannot wait to do our basement renovations just to work with Jared again.

Very unprofessional received a Quote to refinish a piece of furniture. Sent pictures and spoke with Jared regarding what the piece was and what finish needed to be applied, He assured me that he could pick the piece up as well as drop it off after completing the work. Asked if he needed to come and see the piece and he said no the pictures where good enough. He arrived to pick up the piece and it wouldn't fit in his Van so he said he would come back and get it later in the afternoon. Received a Text Message not a call which said he and his Partner had decided that they where only going to Refinish Items which they could fit into their Vans. How absurd is that when I was willing to pay for any Transportation of the piece. Jared did include a link to another Vendor in Colorado Springs. After speaking with that Vendor they where shocked at what I told them happened with Jared and Gateway Painting LLC. They referred me to Ackerman & Sons Furniture Workshop in Denver who services Colorado Springs. Would definitely avoid using these guys for any Furniture Refinishing Projects as they might not fit in their Vans.
