David installed new Timber Tech AZEK deck and metal railing for our front porch. His work is very thorough and precise and the end product was a beautiful porch that we are very pleased with. David also installed some new door locks and grab bars for us. All of his work was very exacting and professional. I would be very happy to hire David Ahrens for any home maintenance projects I need done.

From the moment I met David and shook his hand, I knew he was a man of honesty and integrity. After discussing the small project and price, we got to work. He was professional, listen to my thoughts, suggestions, and the out come was beautiful. I will be booking him again for another project soon. I really liked that he let me work along side of him, cos I like to DIY. Get in line folks, cos hes gonna be busy.

David has done alot of work this year on my home and my moms. I had cared for my husband the last 4 yrs, so my 30 yr old home needed alot of repairs from garage doors to outside and inside the house. David's work is impeccable, everything looks perfect, its done right from simple changes like switches, changing exterior and interior lights to larger repairs. Everything works as it should and no more frustration on my part. He shows up on time, his work shows great pride in what he does. He makes sure all supplies and materials are there by the time he arrives. Never once did he have to run out to pick up something. I value that quality of his organization. His to do list was huge. Now every year as things need to be fixed and done I will be calling on him. Hopefully next yr I can replace all the decking around my home and I will be calling David. He is honest and trustworthy as he has proved that over and over with each job.

David came and helped us with window coverings. Although he was committed for several jobs, he made time on his schedule to get a many of them up on windows that were a high priority for us. The quality of his work was detail oriented and the end result was perfect. The job area was perfectly clean when he was done. Thats important to him as well as floor protection. Hes a nice guy too! You wont go wrong with David.

So impressed with Forthright Services! Adding some security for our patio door was beyond the tools and expertise we had. Forthright showed up promptly, had everything needed to complete the job, even wore booties to keep our home clean. His estimate was spot on, and completed the job quickly at a great price! Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. David repaired a ceiling fan that had been glitchy for over two years. He also installed a new light fixture. His work was fast and competent. I highly recommend his work.

I wanted my window screens re-screened due to some minor wear and tear. David was great! He was on time. Put shoe covers on before stepping onto my carpet. He came prepared with the needed tools. Very professional, personable and reasonably priced and completed tasks in a timely manner. One of the screens turned out to be more difficult than expected- not due to Davids skills but he went the extra mile so to speak in his efforts. David arrived exactly on time and did a great diagnostics to find and resolve our problems. He is a very good listener and very good at explaining in detail what is going on. He also made some very good suggestions about how to explain the manufacturing problems with the two expensive shower filtration systems we purchased.

David was very communicative, friendly and reasonable. He was flexible with his timing and went out of his way to help us with a small plumbing emergency. We used his help to install a new kitchen faucet and sprayer, and he did an excellent job. He went out of his way to clean the existing sink area from old residue and made it look like new. We plan to call upon him again for a little list of tasks we have at our home. Appreciate his professional, reasonable, and responsive help!

I met Dave from ForthRight Properties Services at a friends house working on an electrical problem. I mentioned I had a few home repair projects that were reaching a 10 on the spousal unit reminder meter. Rather than jump at the opportunity to book some easy business, he thoughtfully asked questions about the projects, why I was doing them and my expectation of the desired outcome. He openly admitted he was not proficient in everything, but there were a couple he could easily handle. A few weeks later I texted him, he responded within an hour, we talked through the required work and within minutes had sent me a contract using electronic signature. Quick, professional and painless. On the day of the job, he sent a friendly reminder of his time of arrival and arrived a few minutes early. After he finished the work I asked if he had a second to look at a broken window. He did, and ended up fixing the window. He cleaned up his original work area and provided me a bill with no up-charge for fixing the window (replaced a broken hinge on a bay window). You just dont get personalized service like this anymore. Dave is now on Speed Dial for my next home repair project!

Working with David was an outstanding experience! He communicated and asked good questions when booking and came on time, prepared with everything he needed to do an excellent job. His speed of work and attention to detail (caulking around the hooks he was installing into my siding to make sure it was sealed) was something I wouldnt have thought of. He is a rare find. After four....yes FOUR horrible experiences with different handymen. I had almost given up on finding a hardworking, detailed and experienced handyman. 5 stars all the way!
